Mina, the latest Mythic Brawler added to Brawl Stars, is here! This guide will cover her attacks, stats, and abilities, and help you build the best possible setup. Mina is a damage-focused breakdancer, and the power of her attacks changes based on your timing. Let’s dive right into a closer look at Mina, the newest Mythic Brawler in Brawl Stars.
Brawl Stars Mina Guide – How To Unlock The Newest Mythic Brawler
Overall, there are three ways to get Mina in Brawl Stars:
- Unlock her for 1900 credits (or 349 gems)
- Make sure Mina is your selected brawler on Starr Road to make sure your credits go towards unlocking her.
- You can also potentially unlock her from a Mythic (1.90%) or Legendary (5.43%) Starr Drop.
Brawl Stars Mina Guide – All Attacks, Stats Per Level
Mina’s primary attack, Capoeira Combo, isn’t a single move-it’s a sequence of three phases. The speed at which you execute each part determines how the attack plays out. Here’s a breakdown of how it works.
Mina begins every attack sequence by throwing a sandal from a distance, which doesn’t do much damage. But if she follows up with her second attack quickly – within 1.35 seconds – she’ll throw her tambourine. It doesn’t reach as far, but it’s much wider and far more dangerous. Finally, if she immediately uses her third attack, she’ll fire a short-range wave that packs a huge punch.
This strategy is effective when you aggressively approach your opponents. Start by using your first two attacks to reduce their health, then unleash your Super (we’ll explain that shortly), and complete the attack with your final combo. While it demands accurate timing, it can be incredibly powerful.
Mina’s Super, Furacao 3000, allows her to create a whirlwind that both harms and draws enemies closer. Although the whirlwind doesn’t deal much damage on its own, it effectively brings enemies within range, letting Mina finish them off with her attack combo.
The stats below represent Mina’s stats at launch, which are subject to change:
POWER LEVEL | HEALTH | Capoeira Attack (Sandal) | Capoeira Attack (Tambourine) | Capoeira Attack (Wave) | Super Damage |
1 | 4100 | 800 | 1400 | 2200 | 1000 |

Brawl Stars Mina Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?
Mina has two gadgets at launch:
- Windmill – “Creates a wall of wind that temporarily blocks projectiles”
- Capo-What? – “Mina’s next Super recharges instantly if it hits.”
Additionally, Mina has two Star Powers which players can unlock:
- Zum Zum Zum – “Mina’s combo Attack 3 also heals for 50% of damage done.”
- Blown Away – “Mina’s Super also roots enemies on the spot.”
Furthermore, Mina can use the following gadgets in battle:
- Speed
- Vision
- Health
- Shield
- Damage
- Gadget Cooldown
Brawl Stars Mina Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup
When it comes to Gadgets, we really like Capo-What? Quickly recharging your Super is a big help to Mina and her team. Because Mina can pull enemies closer with her Super, she’s able to get right up to them and take them down. It’s also useful for pulling an enemy *away* from an ally, giving them some breathing room. Ultimately, having a Super you can use twice is always a good thing.
When it comes to Star Powers, we highly recommend Zum Zum Zum. Because Mina sometimes needs to move near enemies to perform her third combo attack, this Star Power will help her survive afterward. For example, if you defeat one enemy, but another is quickly approaching, that added health can keep Mina in the fight and on the battlefield.
When equipping Gears for Mina, we suggest a Damage Gear first, as she can take damage while performing her combos. The increased damage will help her defeat enemies more quickly. For her second Gear, either a Health, Shield, or Gadget Cooldown would be beneficial – they’ll either keep her alive longer or allow her to use her abilities more frequently.
Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Mina In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)
Heist
As a huge fan, I’m telling you, Mina is seriously dangerous! Her damage is just insane, and she’s incredibly fast, which means she can really break through the enemy’s defenses. I was shocked to find out that at Power Level 11, she can dish out almost 9,000 damage with a single combo! Plus, her reload speed is super quick, so she can keep those combos coming and easily defend against anyone trying to stop her. It’s amazing to watch! You can find more details about her abilities here.
Showdown (Solo, Duo, & Trio)
Mina is enjoyable to play in Showdown because she deals a lot of damage. She also fits into many different team strategies when played with teammates. I especially like pairing her with Poco, because his constant healing complements her self-healing from the Zum Zum Zum Star Power.
Gem Grab
Mina’s Super ability lets her retrieve gem carriers, and she can eliminate them rapidly using her combo. Because she’s a gem carrier herself, her high speed should allow her to evade most opponents. However, generally, Mina should prioritize inflicting damage and defeating enemies.
Brawl Stars Mina Guide – What Modes Should I NOT Use Mina In?
Hot Zone
As a Mina player, I’m a little worried that if I’m stuck only fighting in the Hot Zone, I won’t be able to really show what she can do. Her best moves are pretty short-range, and that’s a problem if enemies can just attack me from far away while I’m trying to stay inside it. I *could* try to just eliminate everyone who comes near, but then my team would be down a player who could be helping us actually win. It’s a tricky balance!
Brawl Arena
It’s just my opinion, but I don’t really enjoy playing as Mina in Brawl Arena. I usually prefer characters like Tara, who can hit several enemies at the same time. I’m not saying Mina is bad, but there are definitely stronger choices for this game mode. It’s all about preference, though!
That concludes our guide to Brawl Stars’ Mina. We wish you the best of luck in unlocking her, and we hope you have fun playing with Mina!
