According to his lawyer, Tyrese Gibson has secured a new living arrangement for his four dogs following an incident on September 18th where a neighbor’s dog died. However, local police seem to be indicating a different situation.
According to a statement released to People on Tuesday by his lawyer, Gabe Banks, 46-year-old The Fast and Furious actor has rehomed his dogs.
After hearing about the accident, Mr. Gibson quickly decided to find a secure and caring new home for his dogs,” Banks stated.
The entertainer ‘expresses his heartfelt sympathy to the family whose dog tragically died in an incident that happened while Mr. Gibson was traveling,’ according to his lawyer.
According to officials, the event took place in Atlanta’s Buckhead area, close to where those involved lived.

A neighbor of the singer known for “How You Gonna Act Like That” called 911, reporting that a dog owned by Gibson had seriously injured one of their own animals.
After the incident, police obtained a search warrant and carried it out at Gibson’s home in Atlanta on September 22nd. They also secured an arrest warrant at that time.
According to Atlanta’s 11Alive news station, officers arriving at Gibson’s home found that neither he nor his dogs were there.
Originally from Watts, California, the individual owns four Cane Corso mastiffs. Their neighbor, according to reports, owned a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
As of Tuesday, what will happen to Gibson’s four dogs was still uncertain, with Gibson’s lawyer and local authorities offering different explanations.
According to TMZ, Fulton County Police Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer stated that Gibson failed to meet the Friday deadline for turning in his dogs.

The R&B singer is most famous for repeatedly appearing as Roman Pearce in the Fast & Furious action movie series, starring Vin Diesel.
According to 11Alive, he first stated, shortly after the violent event, that he would surrender his animals to Animal Services.
According to CBS Atlanta, police stated that Gibson asked for an extension when they went to his house on September 27th.
The singer of “How You Gonna Act Like That” requested an additional three to four days to decide on the best course of action, according to CBS Atlanta’s reporting to authorities.
