The Conjuring: Last Rites, also known as The Conjuring 4, comes to digital platforms in only a few days. It’s been less than 45 days since it was in theaters, and now the final installment of this popular horror series will be available to stream at home. That means you can watch it just as spooky season begins!
Warner Bros. has announced that The Conjuring: Last Rites will be available to rent or buy digitally starting October 7, 2025. They’ve also shared the date when you can buy the movie on disc: The Conjuring: Last Rites will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 25. Here are the special features that will be included with the digital version:
- Last Rites: An Era Ends featurette (8:45)
- The Conjuring: Crafting Scares featurette (8:40)
- Michael Chaves: Believer featurette (7:04)
In addition to The Conjuring 4, viewers can buy a digital collection of the first four Conjuring films – a complete Conjuring timeline – starting October 7. That same day, a nine-film set featuring the entire Conjuring franchise will also be available. And for those who prefer physical media, both collections will be released as box sets on November 25.
‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ Is Now the Most Successful Entry in the Franchise
Warner Bros. Pictures
Currently, The Conjuring: Last Rites will be available only to rent or buy online. We don’t yet know when it will be added to streaming services. As for The Conjuring 4, it will probably stream on HBO Max. This is because HBO Max has been the home for all of Warner Bros.’ horror releases this year, including Sinners and Final Destination Bloodlines.
As a fan, I’m keeping an eye out for when The Conjuring 4 will hit HBO Max. Based on how Warner Bros. usually does things, I’m guessing it’ll be about 70+ days after it’s in theaters. They’re usually pretty quick with getting their popular movies onto the streaming service – typically a little over two months. So, if everything goes according to plan, I’m expecting to be able to watch The Conjuring 4 on HBO Max sometime in November or December 2025.
With $437 million earned in theaters worldwide, The Conjuring: Last Rites is now the highest-grossing film in The Conjuring franchise and also ranks as the most successful horror movie ever. It also set new records for the biggest opening day and weekend for a horror film. While the movie aimed to provide a grand finale to the series, critics had varying opinions. Our reviewer, Julian Roman, felt the ending was disappointing and lacked impact. You can find the official description for The Conjuring: Last Rites below:
The Conjuring: Last Rites continues the popular and frightening Conjuring story, inspired by true events. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles as Lorraine and Ed Warren in this new, intensely scary installment of the hugely successful film series.
