NRLW player Indie Bostock is facing criticism for the outfit she wore to the 2025 Dally M Awards in Sydney on Wednesday night. People have been roasting her for her fashion choice at the event.
The beautiful blonde athlete, a player for the Dragons, definitely wanted to stand out when she went out on Wednesday night with her partner, Tevita Naufahu, who plays for the Dolphins.
Indie confidently showed some skin in a dark brown dress with an interesting opening around her waist.
Indie’s unusual fashion choice also boasted a sheer skirt that showed off her toned pins.
Finishing at her feet, she also wore a pair of black strappy heels to complete the quirky ensemble.
She left her flaxen locks to fall freely over her exposed shoulders and back for the occasion.
Indie accessorised with silver and gold bracelets on her wrists and a pair of gold earrings.
She seemed to be struggling a bit with her revealing outfit, and was seen at one point fixing her dress to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation.
Tevita, on the other hand, let his partner’s outfit speak for itself, choosing to wear a timeless black tuxedo.
Okay, so Indie definitely seemed thrilled to be out and about with her partner, and her outfit was a real head-turner! But honestly, the reaction on social media was a completely different story. It’s always interesting how things can be perceived differently in person versus online, isn’t it?
A video of the couple’s arrival at the event – held at the Winx Room at Randwick Racecourse – sparked a lot of discussion, though not everyone had positive things to say.
The video, posted on the official NRL and NRLW accounts, was accompanied by the caption: ‘@indiebostockkkk looking glamorous,’ along with a ❤️ emoji.
However, some fans disagreed, taking to the comments to slam Indie’s awards attire.
‘What part of this is glamorous?’ one fan asked.
Some people felt Indie’s outfit was more appropriate for a nightclub than for the green carpet at the Dally Ms awards.

It wasn’t all criticism, though, with many fans jumping in to praise Indie’s unique fashion choice.
‘Just dropped to my knees in Woolies,’ one wrote.
Someone else enthusiastically agreed, saying: ‘Just divine,’ and another person captured the general feeling with a straightforward: ‘So gorgeous.’
Many people immediately defended Tevita, noting that the original post didn’t mention anything about his clothing choices.
