Maura Higgins has hit back at a troll who said she was too old to wear sexy outfits.

The Love Island alum, age 34, posted a gorgeous photo of herself. She was wearing a sheer cover-up with a bold, low-cut design that subtly revealed her cleavage.

However, one person who follows her didn’t like the outfit and commented: ‘Dress appropriately, ya too old‘.

Maura quickly responded to the online troll. Pointing out their profile picture featured Fairy dishwasher tablets, she wrote: ‘I’ll dress how I want, you just worry about keeping the dishes clean.‘

The model’s stunning photo was promoting Love Island Games: Aftersun which she is hosting in Fiji.

Maura jokingly wrote as the caption for the post: ‘Who saw the most recent challenge I put on?!…with a boob showing or something like that.’

Her gig as Love Island Games host comes just days after her ex Pete Wicks grabbed headlines.

The TOWIE star, 36, shared a kiss with Strictly professional dancer Jowita Przystal on stage at the O2. This happened around the same time he was seeing Maura.

However, Maura seems to be taking it all in stride. She ended things with Pete back in February after discovering messages from other women on his phone.

Maura’s trip to the Fiji Islands hit a snag when she received an alert from her Apple AirTag – a tracker she uses for her belongings – indicating her luggage was missing.

After arriving at LAX Airport, Maura-who used to manage the show’s social media-shared that she was told her bag made it to the baggage carousel, but it wasn’t there. This meant her luggage had been stolen.

Maura first shared a peek at her trip, posting a photo from the plane that showed her Hermés Birkin bag, a Louis Vuitton vanity case and diary, and her Chanel sunglasses, along with a glass of wine.

However, the situation worsened when she started recording her panic and revealed she was experiencing anxiety because of the mistake. This was especially troubling as she was scheduled to begin work immediately upon arriving in the South Pacific.

I remember she posted a picture of all her lovely things, and then a selfie of herself relaxing with a face mask. The caption said, ‘Here’s me for the next 25 hours. Hair mask, bio collaged hair mask, oil all over body‘ – it was before everything started to worry her, so she seemed really peaceful then. It’s just so sad looking back at that moment, knowing what was to come.

Following her selfies, Maura then shared an image of her lost luggage alert.

Along with a screenshot of the AirTag notification she received, Maura wrote: ‘Oh brilliant. Now I have to sit on this flight filled with worry until I land in LAX.‘

Upon arriving at LAX, she discovered her luggage had made it to the United States, but unfortunately, it was taken from the baggage carousel.

Addressing the camera, she explained: ‘A lot of people are messaging me saying not to worry, that the AirTag usually behaves like this and it’s likely still on the plane. But that’s not the case… ‘

They’re informing me that the item was on the conveyor belt, which suggests it was stolen. Stolen! Stolen! I have commitments as soon as I arrive; I have work to do.

She wrote in the video’s caption: ‘Why would they stress me out even more by telling me someone took it!! Everyone else has moved on, and I’m just standing here like… I’M JUST A GIRL who needs her hair extensions and fake tan.’
