Week 1: September 01 to September 07
Executive Summary
Wow, the first week of September 2025 was *packed*! As a gamer, I was so excited to see a bunch of new stuff drop. We got global launches for INFINITY BULLETS, My City, Backyard Football ’99, and even Medieval Baghdad! And if that wasn’t enough, they announced that Kingdom Rush Battles is coming in October – can’t wait!
Sign-ups are now available for BrambleBound, The Ninth Relic, The Kingdom: Medieval Tales, MU: Pocket Knights, Volley Girls, and Girls’ Frontline: Fire Control, as well as Ubisoft’s Might & Magic Fates TCG. Resident Evil Survival Unit began its limited release, and Ubisoft launched a The Division Resurgence Closed Beta test in Romania.
This week saw several important developments, including the announcement that the MLBB M7 World Championship will be held in Indonesia, Bandai Namco’s plans for DRAGON BALL Games Battle Hour 2026, and Nexon’s response to the Blue Archive Koyukification hack. Unfortunately, it was also confirmed that Ride Kamens and Tarisland will be shutting down.

Week 2: September 08 to September 14
Executive Summary
Not much happened in the world of mobile gaming during the second week of September 2025. TED Tumblewords, Anchor Panic, and Soccer Manager 2026 were released worldwide, and Football Manager 26 officially set its launch date for November 4th.
Sign-ups are now open for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and Honkai: Nexus Anima. Also, Com2uS has announced the Star Sailors closed beta, and Krafton has started alpha testing for Astro Arena.
Regarding softer releases, Tower Dominion, Golf Star 2, and Police Chief were first released in certain regions, and Sailing the Winds became available on iOS devices. In other news, there were updates about PUBG UNITED 2025 bringing together esports competitions, the expected release of Arknights: Endfield in early 2026, and the announcement of XD Games’ Heartopia which is planned for 2026.

Week 3: September 15 to September 21
Executive Summary
It was another good week for mobile games! AutoChess Hero, Tom and Jerry Blast, Angry Birds Rush, Shadowborn, and Sunday City became available through early access or soft launch. Plus, Elpis: Fallen Star and Katana Dragon announced they will be released later in September.
UNO Wonder, The Palace on the Hill, Morikomori Life, and Buried Stars were also released on mobile devices. New announcements included the DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow closed beta and a new visual novel featuring Hanazono Serena. Additionally, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is officially launching on October 9.
Sign-ups began for Chess Rumble, Pine Hearts, and Stella Sora, and Kakao started a limited release of NOVAFRONT in the Philippines. Additionally, Apple announced that Safari will soon support full-screen gaming on iOS 26.

Week 4: September 22 to September 28
Executive Summary
During the fourth week, several new games became available worldwide, including Tower Rush, Motor Speed Traffic 3D, Runes of Legend, and Fire Emblem Shadows. Additionally, Chaos Zero Nightmare and m00m world announced they will be released in October. Players could also begin signing up for early access to Brave Frontier Versus.
Jurassic War Survival, NOVAFRONT, Inkvasion, and Cross Gate: Adventure were recently soft launched. Plus, several new games were announced, including Harukanaru Toki no Naka de which is coming out this winter, Girls Band Cry: First Riff, and a game based on Kadokawa’s Shield Hero series.
Here’s what’s new: We got a first look at ANANTA gameplay, a showcase of RAVEN2, and news about a collaboration between Kojima Productions and Niantic. HoYoverse revealed Petit Planet, which will have a closed beta test, and Angry Birds is making a return to China. Plus, NetEase announced that Racing Master will launch in Latin America on October 29th. Finally, an expansion for Ninja Arashi 2 has set the stage for a sequel.

Executive Summary
The final couple of days in September saw two significant news stories. Electronic Arts officially announced its $55 billion deal to become a private company, marking one of the biggest takeovers in gaming history. At the same time, HoYoverse registered the trademark for “HoYoLand”, leading many to wonder if they’re planning a theme park.
