And ‘Nic’ wasn’t the only affectionate nickname Urban used for his wife-he also frequently called her ‘sexy’ and ‘babe,’ terms he often used to refer to the stunning redhead.

It’s likely that’s why actress Kidman, 58, was said to be so shocked when news broke on Monday that she and her husband, Urban, 57, were separating after 19 years of marriage. Reports indicated she hadn’t expected his sudden decision to end their marriage.

By 2021, as Covid lockdown restrictions eased throughout the United States, Hollywood resumed its normal pace – and Nicole Kidman’s hectic work life picked up again.

Nearing her seventieth birthday, she embraced bold and youthful roles, including her 2024 film, Babygirl. Most recently, she moved to London this summer to film a follow-up to her 1998 hit, Practical Magic.

Urban has been concentrating on his music lately. He’s been busy with his High and Alive World Tour, which is booked through October. He’s scheduled to perform in Pennsylvania on Thursday.

In the end, it seems that choosing love wasn’t always enough.

Although it’s known that Urban started the process of separating this week, it seems Kidman ultimately made the final decision to end the marriage.

Although it was first reported that the couple split back in June, the Daily Mail obtained court records showing they officially separated on September 30th – the very same day she submitted her divorce papers.

According to TMZ reports, Urban has ‘acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out.’

As a longtime fan, it’s heartbreaking to see what’s happening. I know that Nicole Kidman and her family are currently staying at their $4 million home in the city – the very same place where, just five years ago during that endless Covid lockdown, they seemed absolutely inseparable. It’s hard to believe things have changed so much; back then, nothing could have pulled them apart.
