Incredible moment Australian reality star flies to London to surprise the sister she’s never met in person

A former reality star has documented the emotional moment she met her sister for the first time.

Brooke Blurton, known for being on season six of The Bachelor Australia and then becoming The Bachelorette in 2021, posted a video on Tuesday. It showed her unexpectedly visiting her older sister, Rhiannon, after traveling to London.

‘Meeting my big sister for the first time in London,’ she captioned the post.

In the video, Brooke walked into a restaurant and spotted her sister, her brother-in-law, and their child already having dinner.

For the event, the 30-year-old chose a black tank top and a leopard-print skirt. She styled her usual reddish-brown hair in loose waves that fell over her shoulders.

When Brooke’s sister saw her carrying a big bunch of flowers, she looked really surprised and then covered her face with her hands.

The sisters went in for a big hug, clearly moved by the emotional reunion.

Rhiannon is Brooke’s half-sister on her father’s side of the family.

The pair had never met before as Rhiannon grew up in Europe and Brooke was raised in Australia.

The popular social media personality shared updates about getting ready for the reunion online, including videos of her writing letters to her sister and preparing for her journey to London.

She then explained that she had planned the surprise with Rhiannon’s husband, Chris, without telling her sister.

Recently, there have been rumours of a falling out between Brooke and Matty Mills. This followed the sudden end of their podcast and their decision to unfollow each other on social media.

Last week, it became known that the duo had concluded their highly acclaimed podcast, First Things First, which will no longer be broadcast after running for three years and producing 150 episodes.

Oh my gosh, I’ve been following Brooke and Matty since forever! You guys, Brooke was seriously amazing – she made history as Australia’s first Indigenous and bisexual Bachelorette back in 2021! And Matty is such a talented entertainment reporter for NITV. They started this incredible podcast back in 2022, and it’s all about shining a light on First Nation perspectives and stories – it’s everything!

However, Matty recently shared on an Instagram story that this week’s episode would be his last. This is surprising considering First Things First won the Podcast Champion award at the APAs last November.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been noticing things are a little off with the podcast lately. It seems there’s been some trouble behind the scenes, because Brooke, his co-host, hasn’t been on the show for several weeks now. It’s definitely raised an eyebrow, and fans are starting to wonder what’s going on. It’s a situation we’re all keeping an eye on, hoping everything gets resolved quickly.

What’s more, the pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Daily Mail has reached out to Brooke and Matty for comment.
