It’s tough to deal with a breakup in the public eye. After many years together, Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly separating, according to multiple sources. It’s a sad time for both of them, and fans are understandably upset. The news has spread quickly across entertainment outlets.
According to TMZ, the Oscar-winning actor and the country music star have separated and have been living separately “since early summer.” People also confirmed the split, with a source stating that Kidman “has been trying hard to reconcile.”
We reached out to representatives for both Nicole Kidman, 58, and Keith Urban, 57, on Monday, but did not receive a response right away.
Award-winning actress AMC Theatres spokesperson Nicole Kidman and Grammy-winning musician Keith Urban got married in June 2006 and are parents to two teenage daughters. According to TMZ, the daughters have primarily been with Kidman while Urban has been touring. Urban’s High and Alive world tour began in May. He will finish the U.S. portion of the tour in Nashville this October, and then take his music internationally starting in March 2026.

Nicole Kidman marked 19 years of marriage with Keith Urban in June by posting a sweet black-and-white photo of the couple backstage on social media. She wrote, “Happy Anniversary Baby,” as the caption to the Instagram photo. Keith Urban, who didn’t share an anniversary post himself, has been primarily using his Instagram account to showcase his music lately. In May, he posted pictures of him and Kidman celebrating his win at the American Country Music Awards. The couple appears to enjoy sharing glimpses of their life together.
The Australian celebrities tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Sydney. Before marrying Urban, Kidman was married to Tom Cruise, the famous action star from “Mission: Impossible”, from 1990 until their divorce in 2001. Urban is Kidman’s first husband.
It’s currently unclear whether the spouses will file for divorce.
