Gillian Anderson looked stunning in a white dress as she left her Paris hotel on Sunday, just before the start of Fashion Week.

The 57-year-old Sex Education actress looked incredibly stylish and elegant in a sleeveless dress that showed off her slender frame.

Gillian Anderson, known for The X-Files, smiled at people as she left, wearing open-toed shoes and stylish sunglasses.

Gillian finished her outfit with a chic, dove-colored handbag and then got into her chauffeured car.

Paris Fashion Week begins on Monday, and designers like Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton will be presenting their latest Spring/Summer 2026 lines. Other brands showing their collections include Kenzo, Givenchy, and Céline.

Last month, the famous actress openly shared that filming intimate scenes isn’t enjoyable, but she understands it’s a part of her work.

The popular actor appeared with Jason Isaacs in the film adaptation of Raynor Winn’s 2018 memoir, *The Salt Path*. One scene features their characters sharing a romantic moment inside a tent.

Although filming intimate scenes with someone you don’t know well can be uncomfortable, Gillian explained that she’s become accustomed to the unusual requirements of such scenes.

As someone who’s observed a lot of careers in the entertainment industry, I can tell you that dealing with change is just part of the job. It’s something you learn to expect when you dedicate your life to acting. I’ve personally seen how impactful long-term working relationships can be – I once worked alongside the same actor every single day for years, and it really shapes your experience.

I’ve sometimes had to film sex scenes on my very first day of a job, and it’s never been a pleasant experience.

Gillian explained that filming romantic scenes with her 61-year-old co-star, Jason, was easy because he was very cooperative and they had good chemistry.

She explained that in her line of work, you constantly react to whatever comes your way, and Jason makes that easy. He’s approachable and friendly, and they quickly developed a strong physical connection-almost like they understood each other without words.

She explained that their shared experiences felt deeply ingrained in who they were, as if they were all contributing to a single, ongoing discussion.

Gillian revealed she enjoys intimate moments in small or awkward spaces, playfully referencing a similar preference displayed by her character, Jean Milburn, from the show Sex Education.

After gaining recognition for her role as a sex therapist in a popular Netflix series, the actress has become a strong advocate for women’s sexual empowerment.

In a recent interview, she playfully confessed she wouldn’t rule out getting intimate in a confined space like a tent or car, if the situation called for it.

In “The Salt Path,” Gillian plays Raynor Winn, and Jason plays her husband, Moth. The series is based on the true story of this couple who lost their home and everything after a bad business arrangement with a friend.

When Moth received a diagnosis of a rare and untreatable brain disease, the couple embarked on a 630-mile journey along the coasts of Cornwall, Devon, and Dorset, carrying only a tent and essential supplies.

After a scene in the film showing Gillian and Isaac’s characters becoming intimate in a small tent, The Sunday Times jokingly asked Gillian Anderson if she’d suggest that location for romance.
