Selena Gomez, who is an actress, singer, and entrepreneur, married music producer Benny Blanco on Saturday in California. The couple announced the news on Instagram.
Gomez posted a series of beautifully filtered photos of the couple dressed for a wedding on a lawn. Gomez wore a white halter dress, and Blanco looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo – both reportedly designed by Ralph Lauren. The photos showed them embracing and holding hands, with Gomez carrying a simple bouquet of white flowers. The post only included the date – “9.27.25” – with white heart emojis and the song “La Vie En Rose” playing in the background. Blanco commented, “My wife in real life.” By Sunday morning, the post had already received over 17 million likes, including from celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter and Sydney Sweeney. It’s unknown whether the photos were taken on their wedding day or at an earlier time.
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez celebrated their relationship with a weekend getaway in Santa Barbara, as reported by Vogue. Guests included Steve Martin and Martin Short, who co-star with Gomez in “Only Murders in the Building.” Meanwhile, Meryl Streep was in Milan filming the next “Devil Wears Prada” movie. Gomez recently shared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that Martin Short would be the ring bearer – a detail fans are still hoping is accurate! Other invited stars reportedly included Ed Sheeran and David Henrie, Gomez’s former co-star from “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
The couple is celebrating their upcoming wedding almost a year after getting engaged in December 2024. When Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, announced their engagement, Gomez posted photos of her ring on Instagram with the message, “forever begins now.”
Selena Gomez shared in an interview with Interview Magazine that she first encountered producer Benny Blanco over ten years ago, when she was a teenager, with the possibility of working on a song together. Blanco is a well-known producer who has collaborated with many popular artists, including Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Kanye West, and Maroon 5.
It took several years, but they finally collaborated on the 2019 hit “I Can’t Get Enough,” alongside J Balvin and Tainy. They confirmed they were a couple in 2023 and also released her song “Single Soon” that year. Most recently, they put out their first full album together, called “I Said I Love You First.”
