Vinnie Jones channels his hardman character Geoffrey Seacombe as he continues filming dramatic scenes for The Gentlemen series two in Slough

Vinnie Jones brought his tough-guy persona to life while filming more scenes for the second season of The Gentlemen in Slough on Sunday.

The 60-year-old actor was seen driving a vintage Land Rover Defender on set. It was equipped with filming equipment, and he drove through the fog.

He filmed scenes with his fellow actors, Jasmine Blackborow and Benjamin Clementine, who is making his first appearance on the show.

Filming for the second season of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series, The Gentlemen, kicked off in London this June with a focus on exciting and action-packed sequences.

Vinnie returned to filming this weekend, and a wooded area in west London was made to look foggy for the new scenes.

Vinnie was dressed in a khaki look and was seen chatting to crew between takes.

The popular comedy drama quickly became a huge success on the platform in 2024, racking up an impressive 44 million views within its first four weeks.

Theo James stars as Eddie Halstead, a member of the aristocracy. Kaya Scodelario, age 33, plays Susie Glass, the daughter of a crime boss portrayed by Ray Winstone.

Hugh Bonneville, famous for his role as Robert Crawley in the ITV series Downton Abbey, will also be appearing in the new season.

According to The Sun, the details about Hugh’s character are being kept secret. A source revealed that his new role is central to the storyline of the show’s second season.

It’s unexpected to see an actor known for playing kind, family-friendly characters in shows like Downton Abbey and the Paddington films take on a role in a gritty gangster movie.

He has a striking new appearance thanks to his large grey hairstyle and prominent black glasses.

The Gentlemen is inspired by the 2019 movie of the same title, which featured Matthew McConaughey, Michelle Dockery, and Hugh Grant.

Let me tell you about this fantastic show! It centers around Eddie, who unexpectedly comes into a family estate, only to find it’s secretly running a massive marijuana operation. And the people in charge? They’re not about to give up their business without a fight! It’s a wild premise, but incredibly engaging.

The show features a talented cast, including well-known actors like Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Joshua McGuire, Edward Fox, and Giancarlo Esposito.

After the show’s first season, many viewers quickly went to Rotten Tomatoes to share their positive reviews.

It has received 75 per cent on the Tomatometer and 83 per cent on the Popcornmeter.

Meanwhile one said on IMBD: ‘The best thing Netflix has produced in a very long time.’

This series is fantastic and feels like an instant classic! It’s great to see Guy Ritchie working on a TV show. Each of the eight episodes is incredibly well-done – it’s almost like watching eight separate movies.

I was completely hooked on this show! It’s hilarious and unpredictable, with a fantastic group of actors. Theo James is perfect in his role – I even thought he’d be a great James Bond, particularly after the second episode.

Kaya Scodelario delivers a fantastic performance as the tough and determined Susie Glass. The cast’s excellent comedic timing is key to why this is such an enjoyable watch.

I’m a big fan of Guy Ritchie’s films. While not all of them have been hits, most are really enjoyable.

This is fantastic! The movie smoothly shifts from calm to intense action with a really impressive rhythm. Guy Ritchie has done it again – he consistently delivers great work.

The 2019 film was a financial hit, earning over $115 million at the box office despite costing only $22 million to make.

In the movie, Mickey Pearson, portrayed by Matthew McConaughey, was a powerful drug dealer who wanted to sell his successful marijuana empire to a wealthy family.
