Why Australian music fans are FURIOUS about Snoop Dogg’s surprise Sydney show – after rapper’s celebrated AFL Grand Final performance

Snoop Dogg disappointed fans in Sydney over the weekend by arriving several hours late to his concert in the city’s northwest.

The famous rapper, age 53, recently wowed crowds at the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne and was the main attraction at the Bella Vista Hotel.

The event was heavily promoted as an unforgettable experience, and tickets sold out quickly earlier this month.

Okay, so I was *there*, right? And let me tell you, it was insane. People paid a *fortune* to see Snoop – some of us just $80 to get in, but others dropped over $3,000 on VIP booths! We were all hyped, but then… we waited. And waited. Seriously, the doors opened, and we didn’t see Snoop until *after 2 AM* – five whole hours later! And when he *finally* came out… the concert was just… weird. Totally bizarre. I love Snoop, I really do, but it was a night I’ll never forget, and not always for the right reasons.

Angry fans flooded social media with criticism of the singer, upset by what they saw as a late arrival, and many demanded their money back from the venue.

‘I waited for four hours before I had to leave. Refund,’ one heartbroken music lover wrote.

‘Absolute joke. We were told he was a no-show and left. I want a refund,’ a second added.

‘Snoop “on his way” for past 4.5 hours. Bro, what even,’ a third chipped in.

When Snoop Dogg finally took the stage as DJ Snoopadelic, he put on a strange show, playing mostly cover songs and some of his less popular tracks.

He played a mix of his own songs, like his famous hit “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” as well as covers of classics such as Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” and Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.”

Before leaving the country, the rapper will be performing shows at Sydney’s Greenwood Hotel and Cargo Bar on Sunday night.

Just hours after being celebrated as the ‘King of Rap’ for his performance at the MCG’s Grand Final, the rapper faced criticism in Sydney.

The crowd of almost 100,000 people went wild as he performed his biggest hits, including “The Next Episode,” “Gin and Juice,” and “What’s My Name.” The show also featured special performances by Jessica Mauboy, Baker Boy, and Tash Sultana.

The experienced performer earned the title ‘King of Rap’ after his performance at the AFL Grand Final on Saturday.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I have to say, seeing this hip-hop legend perform was incredible! He delivered a fantastic nine-song set, packed with all his biggest hits and a couple of unexpected treats. It was a truly memorable performance.

Following a performance by local hip-hop artist Baker Boy and a singalong to the classic song “Up There Cazaly” led by Mike Brady, Snoop Dogg quickly got the crowd energized.

Oh my gosh, before anything even *happened* on the field, Snoop was already working the crowd! He was up on the big screen, totally hyping everyone up, and it wasn’t just him – there was this incredible marching band, like something out of the Super Bowl, and dancers *everywhere*! It was insane, he had us all so pumped before the first whistle even blew. I seriously lost it!

Wearing a clean white tracksuit with his name on it, Snoop Dogg started the event by performing his 1999 hit song, ‘The Next Episode,’ which he made with Dr. Dre.

Snoop Dogg then teamed up with Dr. Dre again for the hit song “Nothing But a ‘G’ Thang,” and later achieved the number one spot on the Billboard charts in 2004 with “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

Baker Boy performed alongside the headliner, joining them for a cover of Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” The rapper then finished the show with a spectacular performance featuring fire shooting high into the air, and hits like “Gin and Juice” and “Who Am I (What’s My Name).”

Although a few people weren’t sure about the star’s performance, most online reactions were very positive, and many fans on social media called them the ‘King of Rap’.
