Lily Allen is back on the dating apps…and this time for real

Would you like to date a self-professed ‘recovering addict’ and ‘raging codependent’? 

That’s how Lily Allen is pitching herself to prospective suitors on celebrity dating app, Raya.

Sources confirm the 40-year-old singer, who recently updated her profile to reflect a younger age, has reactivated her account on the exclusive dating app, Raya.

This time, things are quite different for the celebrity compared to when she first joined the app.

She’s currently single and hoping to find a partner, and her online dating profile features a provocative photo of her in a sheer black lingerie outfit.

Previously, Lily playfully pretended to be a detective, similar to the style of the ‘Wagatha Christie’ case, to investigate whether her husband, 50-year-old actor David Harbour, was secretly using a certain app.

Looking back, she wasn’t being dramatic with her worries – they actually turned out to be justified. It was those feelings that ultimately led her to uncover her then-husband’s infidelity. It’s a tough situation, but sometimes trusting your gut is the best thing you can do.

According to a source, Lily was trying to discover who David was dating by comparing profiles of women on the Raya app to the women he followed on Instagram.

The couple split late last year, and since then, Lily has been throwing herself into dating.

Lily Allen, known for her song ‘Smile,’ was spotted with actor James Norton, 40, at a music festival in London over the summer, but it didn’t appear to lead to a serious relationship.

It’s possible this happened because the Happy Valley actor quickly found a new partner – fashion stylist Flora Huddart – at the Glastonbury festival just weeks later.

Lily recently confirmed she’s moved out of the large New York townhouse she used to share with actor Mads Harbour from Stranger Things.

She’s currently busy making her new flat in West London – a former council property – a home for herself and her two daughters.

Amber Guinness anticipated enjoying the upcoming Netflix series based on her family’s fascinating history, but her opinion changed after watching it.

I heard through the grapevine that Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose, was turned away from the super popular Andrew Edmunds restaurant last week. Apparently, they wouldn’t let her in!

The 26-year-old went to the Soho restaurant hoping to have dinner, but they were told it was completely full and couldn’t be seated.

But the Chanel model is in good company – the late David Bowie was once famously turned away too.

‘We’ve never entertained hookers here’

Actor Rupert Everett has found himself in a dispute with The Polly Tearooms in Wiltshire. He claimed at a Chelsea Arts Festival event that a woman known as ‘the Hooker of Marlborough’ used to work at the charming cafe.

Ann Naughton, the owner, said she’s certain no one has ever used the establishment for prostitution and that she is not involved in any such activity.

Last week, while traveling to Chatsworth House to meet Queen Camilla, Helen Fielding – the author of the Bridget Jones series – had to quickly change into her red velvet dress in the bathroom of a service station on the M1 motorway.

‘Changing in the motorway service station to meet the Queen… as one does,’ she said.

 

Pet leaves Ora shell shocked 

Apparently, pop singer Rita Ora recently rehomed her tortoise because it required too much care.

It probably took too much effort for the singer to feed the reptile greens a couple of times each day.

The singer, known for her hit ‘Hot Right Now,’ said she got the pet for her stepkids, but they didn’t want it.

‘They were like “What do I do with this?”,’ she says. 

‘And then I realised I don’t really have the time to look after it. I had to give it away.’
