On Friday night, Lachlan Waugh posted some concerning videos on social media, fueling speculation that he and his partner, Skye Wheatley, have broken up.
Okay, so everyone’s been buzzing about whether or not they’re splitting up, and honestly, I’ve been glued to their social media! It all started this past week with a few things they posted… it just *felt* different, you know? They have those two adorable little boys, Forest and Bear, and the thought of them not being together is just… heartbreaking. I’ve been analyzing every post, trying to figure out what’s going on, and it’s killing me!
Lachlan, age 34, has shared concerning videos online. He’s been in an on-again, off-again relationship with the Big Brother star for six years, and the videos show him drinking and burning things inside their house.
Skye, age 31, is currently renovating her expensive Spanish-style home on the Gold Coast, which she bought in 2019 for $975,000.
It didn’t seem like she was home on Friday night, as her former partner filmed himself having a few drinks – likely beers and possibly gin – at the house.
I recently posted a quick video showing the exterior of my home at night. I filmed the backyard and the back of the house while all the lights were blazing inside – it really highlighted the contrast!
Lachlan then held up what looked to be a beer bottle that was half empty as he listened to music.
The dad of two posted another video, showing him walking through the empty house and finally entering the large kitchen.
A stack of moving boxes filled an otherwise bare room, accompanied by a message hinting at someone enjoying a few drinks – beers first, then gin.
In his last video, Lachlan was seen leaving the house again, this time standing in the backyard with a new stack of boxes he’d apparently moved outside.
Someone had doused Lachlan’s belongings with a flammable liquid, and a trail led back to him, who was standing nearby.
Okay, so in the video, you see him actually pouring out some kind of flammable liquid in a line, and then, incredibly, he lights it with a lighter. It instantly turns all his belongings into a huge, fast-moving fire – it was shocking to watch, honestly.
Suddenly, something burst from the flames, and Lachlan stepped back a little further, ending up standing next to one of Skye’s dogs.
As Lachlan watched the fire, he listened to TV on the Radio’s song “Will Do,” a track about heartbreak and yearning, which seemed to reflect how he was feeling.
It comes after Skye appeared to confirm rumours she has split from her long-term beau Lachlan.
Fans noticed the influencer hadn’t posted about her partner, Lachlan, for over two months, leading to speculation about their relationship.
Skye suggested her relationship had ended during an Instagram Live session, and she seemed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time.
Skye, while on vacation with her children at a Gold Coast Airbnb, addressed a fan’s question about whether her partner, Lachlan, had been unfaithful.
‘I don’t know, maybe,’ the former Big Brother star replied.
Skye’s sister, Kahla, quickly responded to the rumors while watching the live stream, stating she didn’t think Lachlan would be unfaithful.
On Tuesday, Skye’s friend Tori seemingly criticized Lachlan in a post on her TikTok account.
Tori wrote: ‘When you’re a girl’s girl, so now I’ve got more beef with her ex than she ever did.’
She explained that he mistakenly believed he could manipulate her, but he didn’t account for her close friends who always have her back, and she won’t tolerate being mistreated. She then tagged the post with ‘breakup rumour’.
Skye appeared to confirm the post was about her relationship when she commented: ‘That’s ma girl.’
The next day, Lachlan posted a revealing screenshot on Instagram from a TikTok live video. It showed Skye being flirted with by two men.
He simply wrote ‘Classic, doesn’t take long’ as the caption for the photo, and it was then reposted by the Influencer Updates AU account.
The screenshot came from a video clip of Skye and two friends making a TikTok live stream while she was getting ready for the day.
Wise Gentleman and Ryan J Stewart, both known online personalities, participated in the conversation with her.
Wise Gentlemen and Ryan seemed to be playfully flirting with Skye and her friend, complimenting them by comparing one to a ballerina and the other to a Barbie doll.
Skye also addressed the most recent split rumours between her and Lachlan.
She didn’t address the rumors directly, but she did let her followers know that she has a life outside of social media.
I’ve always been someone who tends to share a lot, maybe too much! But honestly, I’m learning with time that some things are just better kept private. It’s a skill I’m working on, and I’m getting better at knowing when to keep things to myself.
