When Selena Gomez got engaged, a young fan volunteered to be the flower girl, and now the Daily Mail reports that Taylor Swift is helping make that happen.
The 35-year-old singer has traveled to Santa Barbara, California, to celebrate Gomez’s wedding. She arrived from Kansas City around 1:30 PM local time.
The singer was photographed wearing a black t-shirt and carrying a black bag as she exited her private jet.
Taylor Swift’s security team was seen taking a few small bags, a garment bag, and a white box off her plane.
The beautiful blonde woman left the small airport in a three-car procession and drove to the luxurious Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, a popular spot for celebrities.
This luxurious hotel offers rooms with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Miramar beach. Even the most affordable rooms cost over $1,000 per night.
Even though she chose a romantic hotel for the weekend, the 35-year-old singer will be spending it alone. Her fiancé, Travis Kelce, can’t join her because he has a football game – the Kansas City Chiefs are playing the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Despite her efforts, Taylor Swift couldn’t make it to the wedding celebrations for her friend Selena Gomez, 33, and her fiancé, record producer Benny Blanco, 37.
The events begin Friday night with a rehearsal dinner, and the main ceremony will be held tomorrow in a private garden in Goleta, a small town near Santa Barbara.
Pictures in the Daily Mail show the event space includes multiple white tents surrounded by palm trees and cycads, all located on a large 17-acre property.
Friday brought a festive atmosphere to the site, with fairy lights strung between tents. Deliveries were constantly arriving, including scaffolding for a planned show after the wedding, rumored to feature Snoop Dogg.
Security was noticeably increased at the wedding venue throughout Friday, reportedly costing Selena Gomez around $300,000 to ensure the privacy and safety of her wedding.
Besides Taylor Swift, the majority of the approximately 300 guests will be staying at the luxurious El Encanto spa resort in Santa Barbara and will be transported to the wedding events by shuttle.
The luxurious rental home, owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen, costs at least $1,000 per night and is currently fully booked for the weekend.
Paris Hilton, along with Martin Short and Steve Martin-Selena Gomez’s co-stars from the show *Only Murders in the Building*-are also expected to attend the celebrations in Santa Barbara this weekend.
