Georgia Toffolo incurs wrath of fans who say she’s meant to be ‘setting an example’ after sharing ‘concerning’ car video

Georgia Toffolo upset fans on Thursday when she posted a video from her car that many found worrying.

I honestly can’t believe she posted that! Everyone is *so* mad, and rightfully so. Like, she’s a public figure, people look up to her, and then she posts *that* after admitting she wasn’t paying attention while driving? It’s just… irresponsible! I thought she was better than this, honestly. People are saying she should be setting a good example, and I totally agree. It’s just frustrating to see something so careless from someone I used to admire.

Toff shared a video on Instagram showing her test driving a Volo XC90, explaining it’s a better car for her current lifestyle with her husband, James Watt.

However, her fans weren’t happy when she filmed videos of herself inside the car while running errands and going about her daily life.

They warned, “Please keep your eyes on the road and stop messing around – just concentrate on driving.”

‘You’re supposed to be setting an example‘;

Honestly, I’ve seen a lot of debate around this, and some people were quick to suggest it might just be a dash cam! Others pointed out – and I totally agree – that she was using a hands-free device, which is perfectly legal, and only glanced at it when she was stopped. It’s frustrating when people jump to conclusions without understanding the facts!

Toff secured her camera to the steering wheel of her car and didn’t hold her phone while driving, which is against the law.

Daily Mail has contacted Georgia Toffolo’s representative for comment.

Toff explained the story behind her new car in a video caption. After her previous cars were stolen repeatedly, she decided to buy something less likely to attract thieves – a Volvo XC90. She joked about going from a sports car to doing the school run!

Let me tell you, stepping into the role of a stepmom definitely shifts your priorities! I used to be all about the perfect handbag, but now? It’s less about accessories and so much more about the little humans in my life. It’s a beautiful change, honestly – who knew love could come with such precious cargo!

To be honest, I’m completely sold on it now. It’s just so comfortable and spacious, and surprisingly stylish too. I won’t be changing back!

How about we make these drives and conversations a habit? It feels really safe to share things while we’re driving.

Georgia shared earlier this year that she and James secretly got married in northeast Scotland. She’s now a stepmother to his two daughters from his previous relationship with illustrator Johanna Basford.

They announced their engagement last October. The millionaire proposed with a stunning £200,000 ring – an eight-carat band covered in three diamonds – while they were on a romantic birthday trip to Greece celebrating Georgia’s 30th.

After the founder of BrewDog said they planned to get married this year, it seems they followed through – although guests only found out about the wedding with just two days’ notice.

Georgia announced her marriage to James on Instagram, posting photos of the couple on a boat right after their wedding. She captioned the surprise post: ‘James and I got married today!’

‘1st March will forever be the best day of my life – the day I became your wife. We eloped!

We’re inviting anyone who can make it on short notice – within 48 hours! The weather here in North East Scotland is 6°C with a 17-knot wind from the northwest. To those of you who couldn’t join us, we’ll celebrate with you as soon as we can!
