Nintendo has released a new mobile strategy game called Fire Emblem Shadows for both Android and iOS devices. Developed by Intelligent Systems and DeNA, this game offers a unique battle experience within the popular Fire Emblem universe.

In this game, you’ll play as either a follower of light, working to escape a maze, or a follower of shadow, trying to trick the others. After each round, players vote on who they believe the traitor is – it’s similar to games like Among Us, but the stakes feel higher and the decisions more impactful.

Players can discover the story by playing both perspectives

The game ramps up the tension with battles that have strict time limits, forcing you to quickly identify the traitor. Personally, I enjoy playing as the traitor – it’s more engaging! You’ll also use weapons and magic during battles, and you can experience the story from both sides to solve the mystery.

A cool part of the game is trading with other players – you can buy and sell items using the in-game currency. As someone new to the series, I’m excited to see if this installment is as good as the others. However, some longtime fans haven’t been very impressed with it.
