Remember me? Iconic 2000s pop powerhouse touches down at Sydney Airport looking fresh-faced and fabulous at 57

Pop star Anastacia is back in Australia after ten years, touring to mark the 25th anniversary of her first successful album, ‘Not That Kind’.

The 57-year-old pop star was seen at Sydney Airport on Thursday looking noticeably young. She was wearing a denim jacket, jeans, and a purple turtleneck sweater.

Anastacia showcased her signature style with colourful glasses, multiple necklaces, a bold leather belt, and coordinating boots.

Despite a long flight, the superstar looked fresh and happy, smiling and waving to people as she walked through the airport arrivals area.

Anastacia arrived with a group, but showed she’s down-to-earth by carrying her own luggage and Louis Vuitton handbag.

The iconic performer is bringing her show to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane this month, reminding everyone why she’s always been a beloved music superstar.

Her first Australian show will be at Melbourne’s Forum on September 24.

The singer, known for her hit “I’m Outta Love”, will perform two concerts in Sydney. She’ll be at the Rooty Hill Coliseum on September 26th, and then at the Enmore Theatre on September 27th.

Anastacia will finish her Australian tour with a final performance at Eaton’s Hill Hotel in Brisbane on September 29th.

The pop star announced her excitement about touring Australia, saying she’s thrilled to celebrate 25 years with fans and share her show with them.

‘It’s a night of true nostalgia. Get ready to sing! Bring on the NTK25 Australia party.’

Anastacia last toured Australia in 2015 as part of her Resurrection Tour.

When “Not That Kind” came out in 2000, it quickly became popular in Australia, climbing to number 2 on the ARIA album chart.

It was also a hit on the ARIA Dance Album chart, reaching number one.

The album ‘Not That Kind’ spawned several popular singles, such as the title track, alongside hits like ‘I’m Outta Love,’ ‘Cowboys and Kisses,’ and ‘Made For Lovin’ You’.

After becoming a household name, Anastacia took a lower profile in recent years.

It was later revealed that the performer had been struggling with several health problems, which made it very difficult for her to continue working internationally over time.

The pop star courageously fought Crohn’s disease, a heart condition and two bouts of breast cancer.

The singer of “Sick And Tired” was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 13. This condition is a long-term illness that causes inflammation in the digestive system and can lead to ongoing, serious health problems.

In 2003, she received a breast cancer diagnosis, and shortly after, was also diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia, a condition that causes an irregular and fast heartbeat.

In 2013, after receiving a second breast cancer diagnosis, Anastacia chose to have a double mastectomy right away.

Anastacia, a popular singer in Australia, gained significant attention in 2021 by winning the reality TV show, The Masked Singer Australia.

Anastacia’s eighth studio album, “Our Song,” came out in 2023 and quickly became a chart-topper in both Germany and the United Kingdom.
