Tillie Amartey showed off her long legs at the SHEIN VIP launch event in London on Thursday. The appearance came as speculation grows that she may be joining the next season of Strictly Come Dancing, potentially replacing Dani Dyer.
Sources say that 22-year-old actress Zaraah Abrahams, recently known for her role in Waterloo Road, is being considered to join a show after a Love Island contestant broke her ankle during training.
Tillie seemed cheerful at the party, where she was joined by Shaughna Phillips, who is expecting a baby, as well as Phoebe Tomlinson and Meryl Williams.
The actress stunned in a black leather outfit, including short shorts and a coordinating Playboy jacket from Missguided, completed with strappy heels.
Responding to rumors about Strictly Come Dancing, Tillie shared with the Daily Mail: ‘Right now, it’s all about the costumes and guessing what’s happening, but the Christmas special was a really wonderful experience for me. I truly enjoyed it.’
I’m always happy to accommodate Strictly and will make time in my schedule whenever needed. However, I also believe in letting things happen naturally, and most importantly, I’m focused on Dani’s quick recovery.

I was so fascinated listening to Tillie talk about her background! She mentioned she actually tried a dance competition when she was really young – around six or seven, because her mum was a dancer herself. But she didn’t really stick with it. She said she didn’t do amazingly well, and when her mum offered her horse riding lessons instead, she jumped at the chance! So, she pretty much considers herself a dance newbie, which is totally fine!
Tilly didn’t win the Strictly trophy, with EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and Nancy Xu taking home the prize instead.
The actress previously had a relationship with Bobby Brazier, who is known for his roles in EastEnders and as a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing, but they broke up in March 2022.

Dani shared that she injured her ankle during rehearsals on Friday. She initially thought it was just a sprain, but after it swelled up over the weekend, an MRI revealed she had actually fractured it.
It turns out dancing the quickstep with a broken bone wasn’t a good idea! The doctors have told me I can’t dance, so unfortunately I’ve had to withdraw from the show.
I’m absolutely devastated. I’m really going to miss dancing with Nikita, but I’ll definitely be watching and rooting for everyone else!
The accident occurred before Dani even got to perform one routine.
According to Sarah James, Executive Producer at BBC Studios, Dani was a wonderfully energetic and enthusiastic addition to Strictly, and her dance partnership with Nikita had a very promising beginning.
The entire show is heartbroken that she can’t continue competing this year. We’re sending her our love and wishing her a quick recovery, and we hope she’ll be back on the dance floor soon.
It’s unclear if Dani will be replaced on Strictly Come Dancing, but she’s not the first celebrity to have to leave the show because of an injury.
