Want to get a strong start in Atelier Resleriana (coming in 2025)? This guide covers everything you need to know about the beginning of the game – including collecting materials, improving your shop, finding fairies, and unlocking new abilities – to help you get ahead.
Atelier Resleriana has a lot going on when you first start! You’ll be managing shops, learning new skills, and taking care of a team of fairies. This guide will help you get up to speed quickly by showing you how to earn money fast, unlock useful recipes, and focus on the most important skills right away, so you can avoid common pitfalls.
#Tip 1: Become a hoarder

Focus on collecting resources as much as possible with Rias’s abilities. Prioritize learning skills that boost resource gathering early in the game. Having more resources lets you craft more items and sell them at the Mistletoe Shop, earning you Cole. This Cole can then be used to upgrade your equipment – which can be expensive – and help compensate for not having many stat points at the beginning.
#Tip 2: Double Attack

Try to unlock the extra normal attack as soon as you can. It lets you hit enemies twice with a single attack, giving you 5 AP with each hit – a total of 10 AP, which is enough to use your simplest skill. You can unlock a third hit later on, but it takes a while to get there.
#Tip 3: Unlocking Skills > Levelling Up

Focus on learning new character skills before simply increasing their overall level. It’s more enjoyable – repeatedly using the same skill for hours can get very tedious – and it also gives you more options when dealing with different types of enemies and challenges.
Characters like Wilbell, with her Phantom Sword possessing both Fire and Wind abilities, can exploit enemy weaknesses more effectively. Similarly, Rias’s Brilliant Cheer skill provides a 30% Speed and 15% Critical Rate boost to a target, making it very useful for strengthening your main damage dealer, especially during early boss encounters.
Just so you know, don’t bother increasing stats other than HP early in the game. The first really tough boss doesn’t appear until Chapter 5.
#Tip 4: Mistletoe Miscellaneous Shop is worth it

Make sure to visit Hallfein often between Chapters 2 and 4 and focus on improving your Shop. As your Shop levels up, Hallfein will grow, attracting new merchants and businesses. These merchants sell recipes that you can learn at your Atelier, giving you access to a wide range of items to craft and sell. Plus, you’ll get to see the city prosper – and Rias’ grandfather would be proud!
The potion-like Neutralizer items – the blue, red, and yellow ones – sell for a good price right away, and they’re simple to make. Craft as many as you can and sell them for a profit.
Transform the Blue Neutralizer to learn how to make the Yellow Neutralizer. Selling Yellow Neutralizers can quickly earn you a lot of Cole in a single round, giving you plenty of resources early in the game to copy any valuable items you create in the Atelier.

Remember, items you’ve improved sell for much more, particularly if you’ve properly matched their Gift Colors. If you’re tired of deciding what to put on sale, try “Fairies’ Choice” – it’ll stock your shop automatically. Just be cautious, as it sometimes includes weapons or armor you’re not currently using, and you wouldn’t want to sell something important by mistake.
#Tip 5: Don’t just Block, Precision Guard!
Simply holding the block button lessens incoming damage. However, timing your block just right – like a perfect parry in games like Dark Souls – triggers a Precision Guard.
This move doesn’t leave your opponent open for an easy attack, but it *does* prevent them from applying harmful status effects like Paralysis or Sleep. These effects are frequent in Atelier Resleriana battles and can make fights much longer and force you to use more healing items. That’s why it’s better to use a Precision Guard instead of a simple block!
#Tip 6: Fairies are worth collecting

Collect every Fairy you find while exploring the Dimensional Path. Whenever you can, choose the option to make Fairies appear more often. If you reach the maximum number of Fairies, focus on keeping the ones with useful Traits, because you’ll be able to add those Traits to your equipment starting in Chapter 3 when Slade becomes important.
As you upgrade the Mistletoe Miscellaneous Shop, you’ll be able to hire up to 9 Fairies to help out! There are 25 Fairies to discover and collect throughout the game, but you can only have a maximum of 20 working at your shop at any given time.
Here are a few Fairies definitely look out for:
| Fairy | Trait they can pass on in Synthesis |
|---|---|
| Chip | Attack Blessing – Boosts physical item power by 15% |
| Pino | Critical Blessing – Boosts critical damage by 15% |
| Popon | ATK-DEF Boost – Increase ATK and DEF by 15 |
| Mee | Single Bonus – Increase Item power and recovery |
| Kololo | Rare item – Increase sales price |
#Tip 7: Speed Matters
Like games such as Honkai Star Rail and Expedition 33, getting to act first in turn-based battles is incredibly important. Investing in Speed (SPD) early on can allow your team to potentially take two turns before the enemy even gets a chance to react. This will make battles faster, help you collect rewards more quickly, and let you continue your adventure.
In Atelier Resleriana, Dexterity (DEX) doesn’t affect how fast you are. It only determines how well consumables work and how effective they are.
#Tip 8: Dimensional Paths are your friend

It’s easy to find the way out of each level in a Dimensional Path, but take your time before moving on. Be sure to check all the extra rooms for Fairies, treasure, and useful items. You can always replay levels you’ve already finished, or challenge yourself with the medium or hard difficulty settings.
When you first unlock Dimensional Paths, they’re a great place to gather resources and build up your team of Fairies. Don’t bother with regular, weak enemies, but always make sure to defeat any Field Bosses the game points out to you.
#Tip 9: Interrupt to Heal
Once Wilbell becomes a member of your team, you’ll gain access to the “Interrupt” ability. It might not seem useful at first – interrupting characters can’t attack or use skills immediately – but there’s more to it than meets the eye.
Choose a character you don’t mind using as a dedicated healer – I used Raze. When a teammate’s health gets low, switch to your back-line healer to top them up. This lets your front-line characters keep attacking without wasting turns on healing, maximizing their damage output!
Conclusion
Keep these tips handy, and you’ll progress faster, deal more damage, and breeze through the beginning of *Atelier Resleriana*. You’ll also be earning plenty of Cole!
