Declan Donnelly shared a funny video on Instagram Thursday revealing the amusing 50th birthday gifts he received from his friend, Ant McPartlin.
The TV host celebrated a significant birthday in South Africa with his co-star Ant, while getting ready for the new version of ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
To make sure Dec doesn’t miss his dog Rocky while they’re in Cape Town, Ant gave him a T-shirt with Rocky’s picture on it.
Ant also gave him another shirt, this one with his face on it, to help people tell them apart.
Dec looked elated with the presents as he tried his Rocky top on and strutted around the garden.
Ant revealed his feelings for his close friend and co-star earlier today, posting a photo on Instagram of them spending time together.
He shared a birthday message with the caption: ‘Happy Birthday to my younger sibling from your slightly older sibling! Love you! X’
This year, while traveling in Africa, the pair saw their 23-year winning streak for Best Presenter at the NTAs end, with Gary Lineker taking home the award.
Earlier this month, Ant and Dec made a humorous comment about the typical British weather in a TikTok video.
They jokingly pretended to be upset, writing that they were ‘absolutely heartbroken’ to swap the rainy British weather for the sunshine of South Africa, then playfully stuck their tongues out.
‘We’re really going through it here guys…’ the presenters captioned.
Ant and Dec playfully suggested they’d been surpassed by a rising star after Gary Lineker won Best Presenter on Wednesday.

Ant and Dec shared a funny old photo from their 2009 Christmas special. It shows them dressed as Batman and Robin, with Gary as The Penguin – Batman’s famous enemy!
They playfully teased Gary Lineker after their loss at the NTAs, jokingly referring to him as ‘The Penguin,’ a long-standing nickname.
Sixty-four-year-old Gary looked sharp in his Lawrence & Winslade suit and seemed genuinely surprised when he heard the news on stage, as the crowd gave him a roaring ovation.
The ex-footballer, who recently left his role at Match of the Day amid controversy, happily accepted an award, saying, ‘Wow, I won the Ant and Dec trophy! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me – I really appreciate it. This is incredible.’
