Brittany Hockley recently shared details about her unusual living situation with her husband, Benjamin Siegrist.
The reality TV star, who married a Swiss soccer player in a beautiful wedding in Bali in June, recently shared details about the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship on Instagram.
It’s been so tough for Brittany! Her husband, Benjamin, plays soccer for Genoa CFC in Italy, and because she’s based on the Gold Coast, she hasn’t seen him since their honeymoon – it’s been a really long time, almost a year now, and she misses him terribly.
She shared that it had been three months since they’d last been together, and that being reunited felt wonderful, just like the first day they were together.
The famous radio personality shared that she and her husband have always maintained separate homes, even during their marriage.
As someone who’s been through a long-distance relationship myself, I really connected with what Brittany said. She’s so right – having a solid plan for how you’ll make it work is key. And honestly, clear communication and complete trust in your partner are absolutely essential. It’s not easy, but those things can really make a difference.
We usually aim to visit every eight weeks, but work commitments sometimes mean it ends up being longer, like now, she explained.
The Australian actress also shared that she and Ben enjoy watching the same TV shows even when they’re not together, and they even cook together over FaceTime to stay connected.
Brittany explained that while long-distance relationships aren’t easy, they can be incredibly rewarding with the right person. She encouraged people not to dismiss a potential partner just because of distance, suggesting there are far more serious issues to worry about.
She concluded her post by writing, ‘This has been the most effortless relationship I’ve experienced, and I expect it will continue to be. For now, we’re just enjoying it.’
In the video, Brittany and Ben shared a loving moment, hugging and kissing while enjoying an ocean view. It was their first time together after being separated for a while.
The host of the Life Uncut podcast, a Swiss athlete, got married in a beautiful cliffside ceremony in June with views of the Bukit Peninsula.
The wedding was held at Pandawa Cliff Estate, a beautiful venue with stunning ocean views and a romantic, dramatic clifftop location.
Brittany looked radiant as she walked down the aisle on her wedding day. She wore a stunning strapless gown by Steven Khalil, complete with a delicate lace corset and a flowing, dramatic train.

Brittany, who used to jokingly call herself ‘always single’, had been dating Ben from a distance for eight months when he proposed.
