A big bus with ‘Australian Idol‘ branding became an online laughingstock after it was seen trying to drive down a very narrow street in Sydney on Wednesday.
I saw the funniest thing online today! A video of a bus, looking totally lost and confused about which direction to go, popped up on Reddit. It went viral almost immediately – everyone was sharing it and having a good laugh. It’s one of those things that just brightens your day!
It showed the vehicle desperately attempting to reverse out of the narrow lane.
The video showed someone driving and was captioned: ‘Spotted today on a quiet local street. It looks like a former Australian Idol contestant is… not having a great day with their driving.’
‘Poor bloody driver being made to get the bus down the lanes in St Peters.’
Fellow users couldn’t resist roasting the driving mishap.
One user commented that the location is just one block from Princes Highway, and questioned the reasoning behind choosing it.

Another joked: ‘Fun fact – Shannon Noll was driving that bus.’
‘Australian idle,’ a third joked.
The latest season of Australian Idol aired on Channel Seven between February and April, with Kyle Sandilands, Amy Shark, and Marcia Hines as the judges.
Marshall Hamburger won the competition and a $100,000 prize, finishing just ahead of Gisella Colletti and Iilysh Terallick in the final round.
He was lost for words by the life-changing victory.
After receiving a record number of votes from the public, the talented young performer won a large cash prize and a record deal with Sony Music Australia.
Fighting back emotion, Marshall thanked his fans.
‘Thank you, Australia, thank you so much,’ he said.

‘You’re gonna see a lot of me in the future.’
The teenager, thrilled to be part of the singing competition, shared, ‘It’s amazing! I’ve grown a lot and become much more confident.’
Gisella was the first contestant eliminated, leaving Marshall and Iilyish to compete in the final round.
Gisella bravely faced her disappointment and thanked her co-stars after the show.
She shared, “I poured my heart and soul into that performance. I’m committed to this path and won’t look back, no matter the challenges. I’m excited to finally share my music with the world.”
Marshall chose The Police’s 1981 song, “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” for his performance and impressed the judges with his energetic talent.
Judge Kyle Sandilands gushed over Marshall’s talent.
The radio host jokingly said he’d hire a psychic to figure out which famous deceased musician you used to be.
‘It’s just not possible that such a young, fresh boy is such a seasoned genius musician.’
Marshall’s debut album was released in April and reached the Australian Top 50 Albums Chart.
