Brooklyn Beckham suffers HUMILIATION during Ryder Cup celebrity match as he’s mocked by fans

Brooklyn Beckham had an embarrassing experience at Wednesday’s Ryder Cup celebrity golf event.

In the first round of the celebrity playoffs, Brooklyn Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham, teamed up with basketball legend Toni Kukoč on the Europe team. They went head-to-head against the USA team, featuring Eli Manning and Colin Jost.

Spectators at the Bethpage Black golf course in Farmingdale, New York, saw the 26-year-old player struggle, and some even made fun of his performance, suggesting he wasn’t very skilled.

According to a source at the Daily Mail, things went wrong immediately for the former model when his golf ball was lost after the initial hit. His team exceeded the three-minute limit searching for it, forcing him to start the hole over.

Beckham wasn’t the only one showing frustration during the golf game. He frequently sent his shots outside the playing area and into the sand traps over the course of the 11 holes.

Onlookers made comments about how ‘terrible’ he was and how he had ‘no talent.’

‘Hitting trees, can’t get out of bunkers,’ one disgruntled fan remarked.

Another fan playfully teased Beckham as his teammate, Kukoč, walked by, asking, “Is he making you look short?”

Some people watching weren’t even sure who he was, asking others if they recognized him. Those who did know him identified him as David Beckham’s son.

The biggest celebrity in match one was former football star Eli Manning, 44.

At the Ryder Cup, fans enthusiastically asked Manning for autographs on items like baseball caps and souvenirs. Many younger fans hoped to play catch with him between holes, bringing footballs along for the chance.

‘Beckham was not in a good mood the entire game, it seemed like,’ the insider said.

He kept his head lowered whenever he passed fans calling out for Eli or Colin, making it clear he didn’t have much of a following himself.

According to the source, he briefly moved away from the main group, seemingly to avoid the enthusiastic and loud fans of the USA team.

He only received encouragement from his caddy, who would offer a reassuring pat on the back, or from teammates who’d give him a fist bump after a good shot.

After the game, Beckham told the Daily Mail that he understood the fans weren’t there to support him.

‘I feel like they didn’t like me at all – but it was amazing,’ he said.

I knew things might be tough going up against Eli in New York, and honestly, people were kind of making fun of me. But that’s okay – I was enjoying myself and just did my best. It was a really fun experience overall.

The former photographer claimed that he only had weeks of golf experience.

‘Honestly, it was really nerve-wracking… but it was such a cool experience – I couldn’t say no. It was amazing,’ he added.

Honestly, it’s amazing how he handles all the hate! He just doesn’t seem to care what people say about him or his family, which I totally admire. He was saying how there will *always* be negativity, but he’s so lucky to have his wife – they’re a team. They just focus on their work and their happiness, and honestly, it’s so inspiring to see! They really just do their own thing and ignore the noise, and it’s perfect.

His wife Nicola Peltz, 30, remained in Los Angeles to take care of their four dogs.

Sources say she and David Beckham are currently not close with his parents and brothers. They recently had a vow renewal ceremony over the summer, attended by family members from her side of the family.

Recently, David Beckham has missed several family birthday celebrations, including his brother Romeo’s 23rd birthday earlier this month, according to a source at the Daily Mail.

In a match between Beckham and Kukoč against Manning and Jost, the latter team won with a score of 7.5 to 3.5. Overall, the European team lost to the American team across all four celebrity matches, with a final score of 25 to 19.

Joining the game were stars like Michael Strahan, Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Bobby Flay, Catherine Zeta Jones, Tom Felton, Pau Gasol, Noah Kahan, Oliver Phelps, John McEnroe, Teemu Selänne, and Chef José Andrés.
