He confirmed that Season 2 is currently being made and gave a possible timeframe for when it might be released.

Hamish Linklater says Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 can release ‘sometime next year’

Hamish Linklater recently shared that fans can expect the new animated series, *Batman: Caped Crusader*, to premiere around 2026. He revealed this while discussing his work on Season 2 of *Gen V* with MovieWeb.

Linklater isn’t sure when the second season will be released, but expects it sometime next year. He confirmed that work on the season is currently underway.

Originally intended for Max, the animated series *Batman: Caped Crusader*, created by Bruce Timm, will now stream on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon picked up the show in March 2023 and has ordered two full seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hamish Linklater playfully complained about the long wait for Season 2 of *Batman: Caped Crusader*. He said he’s been repeatedly asking the creators if he can help with the animation, offering his drawing skills. Linklater joked they told him to stick to voice acting, saying, “We got this, Hamish, you just do the talking.”

Alongside Matthew McConaughey, *Batman: The Animated Series* also boasts a talented voice cast including Jason Watkins, Eric Morgan Stuart, Krystal Joy Brown, Michelle C. Bonilla, Jamie Chung, and Diedrich Bader, all contributing to the show’s critical success.
