Dani Dyer is receiving lots of support from her loved ones after having to leave Strictly Come Dancing.
Dani, a popular contestant on the show, had to withdraw on Tuesday after breaking her ankle during practice on Friday, according to the Daily Mail.
Dani shared that she injured her ankle during rehearsals on Friday. Initially, she thought it was just a sprain, but after it swelled significantly over the weekend, an MRI revealed she had actually fractured it.
It turns out dancing the quickstep with a broken bone wasn’t a good idea! The doctors have told me I can’t dance, so I’ve had to withdraw from the show.
I’m absolutely devastated. I’ll really miss dancing with Nikita, but I’ll definitely be watching and supporting all the other couples!

Professional dancers Amy Dowden, Gorka Marquez, and Dianne Buswell, along with judges Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas, all sent their best wishes for Dani’s quick recovery.
Dani’s fellow celebrities were really upset to see her leave, saying the show just wouldn’t be the same without her.
Vicky shared a heartfelt message to Dani, posting some adorable photos with a caption that began, ‘My girl…’
I’m so sorry to hear you’re leaving the show! I’ve really enjoyed watching you on @bbcstrictly and I’m really sad it’s over.
I can’t wait to see you back next year – you always bring so much energy, you’re an amazing dancer, and you’re a genuinely wonderful person. I know you’ll be fantastic! I’m already a little envious of whoever gets to share a dressing room with you, because you’re the best roommate anyone could ask for.
‘Love you mate and wishing you a speedy recovery… this series won’t be the same without you…’
The accident occurred before Dani even got to perform one routine.
Sarah James, a producer at BBC Studios, shared that Dani brought incredible energy and excitement to Strictly, and her dance partnership with Nikita had a fantastic beginning.

The entire team is heartbroken that she can’t continue on the show this year. We’re sending her our love and wishing her a quick recovery, and we hope she’ll be back dancing with us soon.
After Dani left Strictly unexpectedly, many of her fellow contestants – both the celebrities and professional dancers – reached out to offer their support.
This included a message from head judge Shirley Ballas, who expressed her regret and wished Angel a speedy recovery, emphasizing that health comes first.
Dani was introduced as a contestant on Saturday’s show and paired with Nikita Kuzmin, 27. However, that segment was filmed before her accident happened.
Dani, a mother of three and wife of footballer Jarred Bowen, recently admitted she’s extremely nervous about performing live on Saturday nights.
Dani has had a fair bit of bad luck when it comes to reality shows.
Although she became well-known after being on Love Island in 2018, she was originally scheduled to be on the show Survival Of The Fittest.
But she was rushed to hospital, just hours before the show’s official launch.

Dani Dyer, daughter of actor Danny Dyer from the show EastEnders, traveled to South Africa to prepare for her appearance on the ITV2 series.
Dani had to leave the show after injuring her shoulder during a pre-recorded physical challenge. Medical staff advised her to withdraw, so she left the show’s lodge.
It wasn’t surprising to hear Dani was already nervous before starting Strictly, and she was relying on fellow dancer Vicky Pattison for support.
According to a source, Dani and Vicky are very close. They’re constantly together, sharing a dressing room and spending all their time backstage.
‘It’s really sweet, a proper friendship has blossomed between them. They’ve clicked straight away.
They’re both feeling anxious, and have been supporting each other through it. They rely on each other for comfort and reassurance.
This latest contestant leaving is sure to frustrate the Strictly Come Dancing team, especially since they’ve already had someone drop out before the show started this year.
Kristian Nairn quit the new series over medical reasons last month.
The 49-year-old actor and DJ announced with sadness that he’s leaving this season of Strictly Come Dancing because of a sudden health issue.
I was really excited about this trip, and I’m so sorry to let down anyone who was hoping to see me dance.
I’m so grateful for everyone’s support. I’m recovering well and expect to be fully back to normal soon. Sending my love, Kristian.

He was replaced by Emmerdale star Lewis Cope.
Reality TV star Thomas Skinner, known from The Apprentice, is facing controversy after confessing to an affair with Amy-Lucy O’Rourke shortly after marrying his wife, Sinead, in May 2022.
He claimed the ‘two week fling’ was a ‘moment of madness’ that saw him almost ‘ruin his life’.
I just *had* to share this – I found out from the Daily Mail that Thomas was already messaging Amy-Lucy on May 13th, 2022! Can you believe it? That was only *eight days* before he married Sinead! It’s just… shocking. I’ve been following this whole thing and this feels like a huge piece of the puzzle. I knew something was off!
Although he described their time together as a short-term affair, Amy-Lucy revealed to the Daily Mail that they were secretly involved for three months. During that time, he told her he loved her and was dissatisfied in his marriage.
Look, I’ve been following this situation closely, and Thomas is really determined to stay on the show and continue contributing. He’s made it clear he doesn’t believe this will be the end for him, and he’s fully committed to giving it his all. He’s digging in his heels and planning to move forward, and honestly, I respect that kind of resilience.
