Fairuza Balk, 51, played a teen witch in The Craft, see her now as she takes up a new profession

Fairuza Balk, known for her roles in popular 90s movies, recently showed off a new look and career path, appearing quite different from her earlier days as a child star.

The actress, who began her career in the movie *Return to Oz* and is famous for her part in *The Craft*, recently used social media to share news with her followers.

I’ve been so inspired by Marcia Balk’s recent life change! Just a few days after announcing she’s left the Hollywood scene to pursue her passion for jewelry design, she shared a gorgeous, sunny selfie on September 12th. It’s amazing to see someone reinvent themselves and follow their creative dreams – and she looks radiant doing it!

Her creative journey started during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 and 2020, when her father began teaching her how to make jewelry and weld.

The actress revealed she’s fallen in love and shared a photo of a handmade pendant-a beautiful piece crafted from turquoise and sterling silver.

She also told her 233,000 Instagram followers about her website, where she’s now selling T-shirts and other merchandise featuring her own artwork.

She’s been documenting her experience learning metalworking and showcasing the rings and bracelets she’s created.

Besides creating jewelry, Balk is also a musician and the lead singer for the band Armed Love Militia.

Recently, she’s been selling artwork featuring images of herself, including those from her famous roles, like her character in The Craft.

Over the past three years, she’s started creating music and has also been making videos on Cameo, as she’s shared on social media.

She’s best known for her role in the popular teen movie, alongside stars like Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True.

In the film *The Craft*, Fairuza Balk portrayed Nancy Downs, a troubled teenager who turned to witchcraft hoping to better her circumstances.

The four high school outcasts create their own group, and Nancy, a deeply troubled member, begins a descent into madness.

The multi-talented artist has also continued to keep up with her acting career over the years.

In 2000, she played Sapphire in the movie Almost Famous, and her performance received a nomination from the Screen Actors Guild.

She has also lent her voice to iconic animated shows like Family Guy and Justice League.

She first appeared in the 2018 film *Hell Is Where the Home Is* and later made a brief return as Nancy Downs in the 2020 sequel, *The Craft: Legacy*.

She used to own an occult shop called Panpipes Magickal Marketplace. She did research there to prepare for a movie, but she sold the shop in 2001.

Fairuza Balk is famous for her role in *The Craft*, but she first gained recognition playing Dorothy in the 1985 film *Return to Oz* when she was only eleven years old.

The film was a sequel to The Wizard of Oz.

Okay, so after she absolutely *killed* it in that first movie, I was completely obsessed and eagerly awaiting her next project! And it happened – she landed a role in ‘The Worst Witch,’ which thankfully came out the very next year. I seriously couldn’t wait to see her shine again!
