As someone who’s always loved a good love story, I have to say this news would have absolutely thrilled my grandmother, the wonderful Dame Barbara Cartland – she truly was the ‘Queen of Romance’!

I’m told that Lord Dartmouth, who is turning 76 today, is still open to finding romance.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I just heard that Lord Legge – the Earl, can you even imagine?! – has married Catherine Zeta-Jones! Yes, *the* Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas’ ex-wife! She was amazing in ‘Fatal Attraction,’ ‘Wall Street,’ and ‘Romancing the Stone’ – a total icon! I’m absolutely losing it right now! A real-life earl marrying a Hollywood superstar? It’s a dream come true… even if it’s not *my* dream come true, you know?

Diandra Douglas, age 69, reportedly married William last week in Gibraltar, and is now known as the Countess of Dartmouth.

According to a friend, the wedding was a small, private affair held at the Gibraltar registry office with just a couple of guests present.

William became Princess Diana’s stepbrother when his mother, Raine Spencer, married her father, John, the 8th Earl Spencer.

Diandra and Douglas, a two-time Oscar winner, divorced in 2000 after being married for 23 years. Douglas is now married to Catherine Zeta-Jones. They share one son, Cameron Douglas, an actor who spent time in prison for drug-related offenses. Diandra also has twin sons with her former fiancé, Zach Bacon III, born via surrogacy, and an adopted daughter named Imara.

The earl, who used to be a Member of the European Parliament for UKIP, was once married to model Fiona Campbell. He also has a son named Gerald with television producer Claire Kavanagh.

William, a chartered accountant, has close ties to Gibraltar, previously serving as its representative in the EU parliament. Meanwhile, American film producer Diandra has a strong affection for Spain and continued to live in Majorca after her divorce from 80-year-old Douglas. Their divorce settlement was substantial, reportedly around £30 million, making it one of the largest in Hollywood history.

After Douglas appeared in a Wall Street sequel made during their marriage, Diandra sued him, asking for more financial support. This later led to accusations that she was motivated by greed.

 

As Bridget Jones’s sweary pal Shazza in the hit films, Sally Phillips was fiercely loyal.

The actress also seems very protective of her co-star, Leo Woodall, 29, who recently gained attention for his role as the younger love interest of Renee Zellweger in the newest ‘Bridget Jones’ movie.

She remembers feeling bad for Leonardo DiCaprio because she attended the Australian premiere and the fans were incredibly wild, screaming his name constantly.

‘It wasn’t healthy – you could see him retreating from himself – it’s cannibalistic.’

Honestly, it’s just broken my heart to hear what’s been happening to the team at The Half Moon. They’ve been getting awful abuse lately – people yelling at them, even getting physical! It’s just… wrong. They pour their hearts and souls into making that pub amazing, and they’re just people, you know? Real people who are getting hurt by all this negativity. I just want everyone to remember that and be kind!

After separating from her husband, musician Jesse Wood, she’s now facing the challenge of not even having a kitchen sink.

The 44-year-old broadcaster admits her kitchen renovation has been more difficult than expected, explaining that going a month without a sink has been a real struggle.

‘Every time I go to wash my hands, there’s no tap. I’m washing up in the bath.’

She’s had to resort to asking for help at supermarket checkouts, even using a crate from the store to carry her dirty dishes.
