Jon Bon Jovi finally breaks silence on Millie Bobby Brown and his son Jake adopting baby

Jon Bon Jovi has spoken publicly for the first time about Millie Bobby Brown and his son, Jake, welcoming their first child.

The 63-year-old singer recently shared news about becoming a grandfather in a clip from the Dumb Blonde podcast with Bunnie XO, which was posted on TikTok on Sunday.

The singer described the baby as ‘crazy, but great and wonderful,’ and revealed he’s already had a chance to meet them.

They adopted a daughter, and of course we met her when she was a baby. From that moment on, she felt like our own grandchild – like a part of our family.

He confessed he frequently asks his 23-year-old son and his son’s partner, a 21-year-old actress known for ‘Stranger Things,’ to share pictures of their baby daughter.

The artist said they thought it was beautiful and would love to see photos frequently – ‘like every other day.’ They jokingly admitted to already being a bit of a bother, but said it was all good.

Brown and Bongiovi got married in a private ceremony last year, and Jon Bon Jovi was there to celebrate with them.

The performer also shared his thoughts on the pair getting married at a young age. 

He explained their success, saying, “We recognized their potential,” and added, “They’re surprisingly mature for their age.”

‘She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young.’ 

The star continued, ‘Her and Jake fell in love and we just thought, “Okay, we’ll support this.”‘ 

Brown and Bongiovi initially had a small, private wedding in the United States, followed by a bigger celebration in Italy.

Last August, the actress known for playing Enola Holmes shared on Instagram that she and her husband had welcomed their first child through adoption.

We’re thrilled to share that we welcomed a baby girl into our family through adoption this summer. We’re so excited to begin this new journey as parents and ask for privacy as we adjust.

Brown concluded by adding, ‘And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’ 

Soon after, the couple was spotted taking a leisurely walk in New York City with their daughter in a stroller.

Oh my gosh, she was *there*! And she was holding the sweetest little bouquet! It was everything. Seeing her and the new dad just walking through the city… I almost couldn’t breathe, honestly. They looked so perfect, and that little bunch of flowers just completed the whole scene. I swear, I’ll never forget it!

Earlier this month, Brown shared photos of her baby daughter on Instagram, giving her 64.4 million followers a first look.

I saw a photo of Jon Bon Jovi carrying a baby carrier while walking towards his private jet on the airport tarmac. It was a sweet moment!

I noticed back in July that Brown posted some photos, and one of them really got people talking – it looked like her husband was pushing a stroller! It definitely sparked some curiosity about what’s going on with their family.

The couple were first linked back in 2021 and announced their engagement in 2023.

Millie shared a black and white photo of Bongiovi embracing her from behind, showing off her new diamond engagement ring.

Keke Brown has often spoken about her desire to have children, and recently discussed it on the SmartLess podcast, hosted by Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.

My parents were very young when they had me – my mom was 21 and my dad was 19. This has always been something I’ve thought about, even before I met Jake.

The actress shared that she’s always dreamed of being a mother, wanting to raise her children the same loving way she was raised by her own mother and grandmother, who played a significant role in her life.

Okay, so Jake *gets* me, he really does. And I’m working so hard on my career, becoming a proper actor and producer, but honestly? More than anything, I just really want to start a family. It’s just… everything to me, you know? It’s what I keep coming back to.

Brown explained that Jake was very traditional and didn’t want to start a family until they were married. She, on the other hand, really wanted to have a large family and was eager to begin that chapter of their lives.

Both my partner and I come from families with four children, so we’re open to having a larger family in the future. Personally, I don’t see a big difference between having a biological child and adopting – both are wonderful ways to become a parent.

Over the weekend, Brown shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram celebrating her one-year anniversary with Bongiovi.

She shared a black and white photo of her and her husband hugging at their wedding in Italy.

The actress looked stunning in a beautiful gown and veil, while Bongiovi wore a sharp tuxedo.

The Electric State actor celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with a sweet message: ‘I love being your wife.’
