Despite recent reports of an affair, Thomas Skinner from Strictly Come Dancing and his wife, Sinéad, appeared together at a party to watch his first performance on the show this Saturday.
The reality TV star, 34, confessed to being unfaithful to his wife – the mother of their three young children – shortly after their wedding in May 2022. He described the brief affair as a regrettable mistake that nearly cost him everything.
Amy-Lucy O’Rourke, who claimed to have been having an affair with him, told the Daily Mail that their relationship lasted about three months. She said he told her he was in love with her and was unhappy in his relationship with Sinéad during that time.
Thomas shared photos on his Instagram Stories of him and his partner watching his performance on BBC, which had been filmed in advance. They were joined by family and friends, and he was dancing with professional dancer Amy Dowden, 35.
The TV star looked delighted while hugging his five-year-old son, Henry, amidst a large crowd, and shared a caption saying, ‘Great night with great people!’
I was SO relieved to see Sinéad smiling again! Just days after finally speaking out about everything, she was pictured with her friends and honestly, it just warmed my heart. It was like a weight had been lifted, and she looked genuinely happy. It meant the world to me to see her surrounded by people who love her after everything she’s been through.
Someone close to Sinéad shared that her wife is having a tough time right now.
Understandably, this has been a difficult time for Sinead. The publicity has been upsetting, as it’s reopened old wounds, but she’s a strong person and has a supportive family and marriage, according to reports.
She apparently learned about this over three years ago, and they worked through it together at the time. She’s already forgiven him; it’s not new information to her.
Honestly, everyone underestimates Sinead. She’s just… unbelievably strong. Tom actually *said* she’s his rock, and it’s so obvious, you know? He really leans on her, and she handles everything. It’s amazing to watch, truly.

Amy, who recovered from a grade 3 breast cancer diagnosis she received in May 2023, says her new dance partner’s funny personality has made it easier to get back into the demanding training for the show.
