Gary Lucy’s ex-wife Natasha bonds with Laura Anderson over their ‘shared trauma’ as they brand the soap heartthrob ‘worse than any TV baddie’

Natasha, Gary Lucy’s former wife, has seemingly connected with Laura Anderson because they both experienced difficult situations related to the actor’s ongoing and public dispute.

Laura, age 36, and Gary, 43, have a 23-month-old daughter named Bonnie. They separated while Laura was pregnant, briefly reconciled after Bonnie’s birth, and then split up permanently.

He’s calling her a narcissist – can you believe it?! – and she’s saying he hasn’t even bothered to see their little girl in months. It’s heartbreaking, honestly. In a surprising turn of events, Laura revealed that Gary’s former wife – the woman he divorced in 2018 after 14 years of marriage and with whom he shares four children – has been a major source of support for her.

Natasha and Laura connected because they found they had a lot in common, and have become close friends. They both agree that a certain popular actor is more villainous than any character on their show.

Natasha could predict Gary’s actions based on her own past experiences, and she understood how upsetting it would be for Laura, having already witnessed similar events with him.

According to a source, she contacted Laura right away and has been a strong support system for her ever since. The two women are close and committed to ensuring their children have a relationship with each other.

Both women feel they’ve been hurt by the situation, and Natasha has been particularly upset watching Laura go through it. Despite his public image as a handsome celebrity and TV star, they both believe his behavior in real life is even more problematic than any of his on-screen roles suggest.

I was so touched to see Laura publicly supporting Natasha this week! She shared a sweet photo of herself with her kids and wrote a message to Natasha, saying something along the lines of ‘From one proud, hardworking mom to another…’ It was just a really lovely gesture and showed how much respect Laura has for Natasha.

We feel so fortunate to have our sweet children as siblings. You’ve always been a source of strength for me, and continue to be. Bonnie and I love you all very much.

This follows Laura’s disclosure of a harsh nickname she has for her former partner Gary, after he publicly called her a ‘narcissist’ in a recent online post.

On Sunday, Gary publicly accused Laura on Instagram of using their daughter to get attention and stay in the public eye.

Laura recently shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story of a conversation with Gary, showing she has saved his contact as ‘Lucifer’.

In traditional Christian beliefs, Lucifer is the angel who revolted against God and is considered the embodiment of evil, often known as the Devil or Satan.

Laura shared that she’s been having issues with the UK’s Child Maintenance System and is also dealing with her ex publicly accusing her of being a narcissist.

Sharing a screenshot of the messages she continued: ‘I wake up to messages like this.’

She added: ‘Do not feel silenced by bullies. I am not the Narc.’

The messages, reportedly sent by Gary, began with: ‘You’re a truly awful person, Ms. Anderson…’

I recently learned about your recent posts asking for help, and this time, someone very close to you was the one who brought them to my attention.

I wish I could just make you disappear from my life completely. I wish I could say my grandparents send their greetings, but they don’t. Keep doing what you’re doing – said sarcastically.

Laura has in the past publicly accused Gary of not seeing their daughter for several months. 

She also stated she had to miss work and time with her child because her co-parent didn’t provide support, either with childcare or financially.

After Laura recently criticized fathers for concealing their earnings, Gary responded with an angry outburst on Sunday.

He shared a quote stating that narcissists often use children to manipulate others. The quote described children of narcissists as being harmed in the process of the narcissist trying to control situations.

Please be aware that exploiting a child for financial gain, especially through social media to maintain their popularity, is harmful and unacceptable.

This follows a recent post by Laura on her social media, where she questioned the UK government’s Child Maintenance Service (CMS) calculations. She pointed out that the CMS calculates child support payments based on income *before* income tax is deducted, even for those who pay higher rates of tax like 40%.

‘Ltd Companies (ie 1 Director) is calculated on <12k per year regardless of profit/ dividends’. 

She also pointed out that there are no consequences for limited companies that don’t pay taxes or conceal their earnings. She then questioned whether the current system is equitable for single or co-parents.
