It’s embarrassing how many times I almost misspelt ‘Embarrassment’.

Overview
- Powerful Pierce DPS with some Distributed Damage wave clear.
- Annoying to play optimally.
- Incredible self-ATK and Pierce buffs means she prefers DPS buffers that debuff bosses with Damage Taken.
Should You Pull?
Milk is a surprisingly powerful damage dealer, but she faces a couple of challenges. One is related to her own kit, and the other is external. Iron is also a strong damage dealer, and currently, the top-performing damage dealer in the game uses Iron. With so much Iron damage already available, asking players to build yet another Iron-based character like Milk might be too much.
Another challenge with Milk is that she’s quite difficult to play for maximum damage. To perform optimally, you need her Skill 1 to activate at the very beginning of each round and again when her Full Burst ends – every time she uses her burst. Plus, like Alice and Ein, the best way to maximize her damage involves rapidly tapping the attack button during her burst.
To keep Milk’s Pierce ability active, she needs to fully charge her attack about every 6 seconds (allowing for her 1-second charge-up time). This timing will take practice. Also, unlike Alice, Milk is designed purely as a damage dealer and can’t provide support to other units.
She’s a powerful character, but if your team already has strong damage dealers who excel at dealing physical damage, you might not need to try and get her. It’s best to see who the next available characters are before making a final decision.
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Blooming Bunny is a powerful attacker in the game, classified as an Iron B3 unit. She mainly deals piercing damage, which is effective against single targets, but also has some area-of-effect damage for clearing out groups of enemies. While her first skill looks complex, it’s actually quite straightforward – she overwhelms enemies with her high stats. However, some players might find her gameplay repetitive despite her power.
Milk needs to activate her Embarrassment buff at the beginning of every battle to get the most out of her abilities. She currently has the strongest self-buffs in the game, thanks to her skills and ultimate. Although these buffs don’t stack, they’re powerful individually.
Because of how much she boosts her own attack power, the best way to play her is to quickly fire your weapon repeatedly instead of aiming carefully. While fully charged shots are usually good, her buffs work better when you’re releasing as many attacks as possible. However, to keep her piercing attack ability active (from Skill 1), you occasionally need to fully charge a shot.

Skill 1: Embarrassment Suppression
■ Activates when performing Full Charge attacks. Affects self.
For 6 seconds, this ability increases piercing damage. It activates when a full charge is maintained for at least 0.5 seconds, as long as the user isn’t embarrassed. When activated, the ‘Embarrassment’ effect occurs, which forcibly reloads the weapon at a reduced speed, boosting attack power and dealing significant area-of-effect damage.
Here’s what ‘Embarrassment’ does:
* Area Damage: Deals 290% of the user’s final attack power as area-of-effect damage to all enemies.
* Bullet Removal: Removes all current bullets from the weapon.
* Reload Speed Reduction: Reduces reload speed by 50% for one reload.
* Forced Reload: Immediately reloads the weapon.
* Attack Boost: Increases attack power by 118.7% for 40 seconds.
Although it sounds complicated, Milk’s special attack is easy to do. If she isn’t stunned, simply hold the fire button for a little longer than it takes to fully charge her weapon – the time will vary depending on any charge speed boosts. This will cause her to unleash an attack that deals minor damage across the screen, empties her clip, and temporarily reduces her reload speed by 50% for one reload. This reload penalty can’t be altered by other speed modifiers.

Activating the Embarrassment buff
Refilling ammo doesn’t speed up Milk’s reload time – she always has to wait the full 3 seconds. Even with teammates who can automatically reload magazines (like Noir and Siren, as shown in the video), I couldn’t interrupt or shorten the reload process.
Okay, so Milk totally makes up for her weaknesses with this awesome normal skill. It gives her a huge attack boost – like, 118.7% – and it lasts for a good 40 seconds! Plus, once she’s already embarrassed (she gets a buff called Embarrassment), she can’t accidentally trigger that embarrassing attack again, which is a relief. It’s a really neat mechanic that prevents unwanted triggers.
As a big fan of this character, I’ve figured out a little something about their special move! It needs you to hold the button down for just a bit longer than a regular charged attack. The auto-play feature automatically fires when a charge is full, but this move needs that extra hold, so you have to do it manually. Don’t worry about messing it up though – if you just hold the button and let go, it’ll trigger on its own after a moment, so you won’t accidentally overcharge it.
Milk’s standard attacks give her bullets the ability to pierce through enemies for 6 seconds. This makes her effectively have permanent piercing power since it’s easy to activate. To get the most out of Milk, time her special skill (S2) and burst attack during this 6-second window. However, if you prefer a simpler approach, you can set Milk to auto-attack after using her standard attack, and the piercing buff will automatically maintain itself.
Skill 2: Outburst
■ Activates only when in Embarrassment status. Affects self.
Deals 64.7% Pierce Damage continuously to all enemies every 2 seconds, but only while in the Overconfident, Huh?! status. This attack deals 447.7% of your final Attack as Distributed Damage.
When Milk is Embarrassed, she also hurts herself, adding to the damage she already deals when using her Skill 1. This significantly boosts her sustained damage outside of her burst attacks. However, this self-inflicted damage only works with weapons that have the Pierce ability, and Milk’s Skill 1 only grants Pierce on fully charged attacks for 6 seconds. Therefore, there are two main strategies to maximize this effect.
If you set Milk to automatic attacks, her Pierce buff will constantly renew itself because each attack recharges it. This makes the buff essentially permanent. To maximize Milk’s damage output, you should attack frequently, similar to how you play Alice – even if your attacks aren’t fully charged, the strength of her buffs means more attacks are better.
As a Milk player, I find her surprisingly trickier to master than Alice or Ein when it comes to maximizing damage. With those two, once it’s time to deal damage, you just hold down the attack button! But Milk is different. You *can’t* just spam attacks constantly, because you’ll lose the Pierce buff, which boosts your damage. You have to balance spamming with landing fully charged attacks at the right moments to keep your DPS high. It’s that extra layer of timing that makes her a bit more frustrating, honestly!
When Milk uses her special ability, she gets a status effect called “Overconfident, Huh?!” This makes her second skill hit multiple enemies every 2 seconds. Because the ability lasts 10 seconds, she’ll deal damage to several targets 5 times with each use, adding extra damage alongside her regular attacks.
Currently, in Tetra Tower, the damage Milk spreads with its attacks is really useful. The tower doesn’t have many reliable ways to clear the screen of enemies except for Bready and Crust, and Milk does this automatically whenever it uses its burst ability, unlike that duo. However, Milk doesn’t spread damage with every single attack like Bready does.
Burst: Embarrassment Explosion
■ Affects self.
Feeling bold? For the next 10 seconds, you’ll be immune to embarrassment, deal 117.64% more piercing damage, and gain a 220% attack boost!
For 10 seconds, Milk can avoid being stunned or interrupted, which also removes her current attack boost and the extra damage from her special attack. However, this allows her to gain even more powerful versions of those same boosts. When Milk uses her burst attack, the boosts she receives are nearly twice as strong as those from her normal skills. If Milk keeps her piercing attack active, her burst attacks can deal massive damage.
Milk’s powerful attack boost significantly increases the damage from her Skill 2, especially when her burst is active. Because this distributed damage relies on her attack power compared to enemy defense, the large attack increase from her burst makes her Skill 2 very effective for quickly defeating groups of enemies or adding extra damage to bosses.
Because Milk removes her own Embarrassment buff when she uses her Full Burst, she has to reapply it after each burst cycle. Even though the buff lasts 40 seconds, skilled players who use bursts frequently won’t get the full duration. This adds to the complexity of playing Milk effectively, despite the buff’s power.
Campaign
Milk is a strong character in battles. She deals significant damage to both groups of enemies and single targets. Her special ability allows her to pierce defenses and spread damage, and this effect is boosted when her attack power is increased. She can quickly eliminate waves of enemies with her ability, and her enhanced regular attacks make her very effective against single, powerful opponents.
Because she consistently deals piercing damage, she can quickly generate a lot of damage and easily clear out groups of enemies lined up in a row.
Because she focuses entirely on dealing damage and doesn’t offer any other benefits, she has to stand out against other damage-dealing characters. Many options provide strong area attacks, quick bursts of damage, or solid boss-fighting ability, and aren’t as difficult to play well. The gap between simply using her basic attacks and playing her perfectly is significant – a difference of at least 50% in her effectiveness.
Milk can be really helpful in a campaign if you don’t have strong units, but if you have units that can reliably deal damage, they’re generally a better choice.
Currently, Milk is a very strong unit in Tetra Tower, even if players aren’t using her to her full potential. Her skill S2 deals damage to all enemies on screen without needing any special conditions, making it a reliable way to quickly eliminate groups of enemies with each use of her ultimate ability.
Arena
Because Arena battles are fully automated, Milk can’t trigger her Embarrassment ability. While she does have strong initial damage in Arena thanks to her self-buff and Skill 2’s spread damage, her ability to consistently deal that burst damage is limited unless it can pierce through defenses. Therefore, to be effective in Arena, she would need additional ways to generate burst damage.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
If played well, Milk can outperform Red Hood in Special Intercept. If you’re comfortable using Milk strategically, she’s a strong replacement for Red Hood and is currently one of the best Iron units to use against Ultra, because her Pierce ability is very effective against the boss.
Milk excels at fighting bosses with many distinct parts. Her bullets become stronger the more parts she can shoot through, and luckily, many of the Iron enemies she faces are designed that way.
Okay, so as a player, I’ve noticed Milk is *crazy* strong because of all the buffs she stacks on herself, especially when she’s really going for damage. That’s why I always try to team her up with Blanc if I can. Here’s the thing with damage calculations: things like Pierce Damage, my regular Attack Damage, and even extra Attack boosts all kinda get watered down when they’re added to Milk’s already massive self-buffs. Basically, she buffs her own attack and pierce so much that anything *I* add on top of that doesn’t make as big of a difference as it would on other characters.
Because of these advantages, abilities like Blanc and Summer Rosanna that inflict the Damage Taken debuff are the most effective ways to boost DPS in raid battles, especially when multiple teams are coordinating to defeat bosses.
Strengths
- Incredible self-buffs on and off-burst.
- Good wave clear from burst’s Distributed Damage and great single target DPS
- Permanent pierce gives her good burst gen in regular maps.
- My tomboy seriously can’t be this cute.
Weaknesses
- Annoying to play optimally.
- Embarrassment buff has to be activated every at the start of every combat and at the start of every Full Burst time after she uses her own burst. More of a nitpick than a weakness, even if it does cut into potential DPS.

Recommended Cubes
Although the Resilience cube doesn’t speed up Embarrassment’s reload, it does affect the reload speed of Milk’s other abilities, making it still useful. Bastion can also be a good option, depending on how many ammo lines you get.
Doll Priority
Milk is a powerful character, and equipping her with a doll is highly recommended. Dolls significantly boost her attack power, adding to the other advantages they provide. While she’s generally excellent, how much benefit you get from her depends on how focused you are on maximizing her potential with a doll.

| Cinderella | Skill 1: 4 Skill 2: 4 Burst: 7 | Skill 1: 7 Skill 2: 7 Burst: 10 | S1 = S2 | Skill 1 provides her with an incredible ATK buff. Skill 2 gives her high Pierce Damage that stacks with her ATK buff from S1. If you desire more wave clear for Tetra tower, you can choose to max this to increase the distributed damage it deals. Burst gives her incredible buffs. While they don’t stack with S1 or S2, their values more than make up for it. | High |
