The action game *Stellar Blade*, released on PlayStation 5 in 2024 by Shift Up and Sony, is likely getting downloadable content. Recent hints suggest this new content will focus on the horror genre. While it’s not yet confirmed if it’s DLC or a major update, new content is definitely on the way, and it has a distinctly scary feel. Some fans have even noted the imagery looks more like a screenshot from the upcoming *Resident Evil Requiem* than from *Stellar Blade* itself.
The recent preview doesn’t come with much information, except for one clue: a caption stating “in one week…”. This likely means we’ll find out what it is next week, and it might even be released then.
The New Tease and Possible Silent Hill Connection

The timing of this recent hint, and the mention of “one more week,” is notable because *Silent Hill F* comes out next week. This could suggest a collaboration between the two games, potentially including some new content. *Stellar Blade* has collaborated with other titles before – *Nier* and *Goddess of Victory: Nikke* – so it’s clearly open to the idea. While a *Silent Hill F* and *Stellar Blade* collaboration might seem unexpected, both games feature female leads, are developed by Asian studios, and share some similar visual styles. However, it’s important to remember that this is currently just a guess.
Resident Evil
A collaboration with *Resident Evil* is another possibility, especially since Shift Up has already partnered with them on *Goddess of Victory: Nikke*. That previous work means a lot of the initial setup for a collaboration is already done. This is just speculation, but many of the reasons people think a *Silent Hill F* collaboration could happen also apply to *Resident Evil*.
