The new British drama, *Dragonfly*, featuring Brenda Blethyn and Jason Watkins, will be released in the UK soon, much to the delight of its fans.
In Paul Andrew Williams’ new film, Brenda Blethyn, known for her role in *Vera*, plays Elsie, an older woman who forms an unexpected friendship with her neighbour, Colleen (Andrea Riseborough), after Colleen realizes Elsie isn’t receiving the care she needs.
Colleen and Elsie are very close, so Colleen volunteers to care for Elsie full-time. However, Elsie’s son, John Watkins, is against the arrangement. During a difficult conversation between the three of them, John starts to wonder if Colleen has hidden reasons for wanting to help.
