Does Red St. Wild die in Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 5?
Yes, he does, and in the most brutal way possible.
Wild takes his job from ARGUS – tracking down Eagly, who he thinks is a legendary creature – to an extreme. We already saw how determined he was in Episode 4, using magic to find Peacemaker’s eagle. But in Episode 5, his pursuit ends violently.
Wild tries to capture Eagly, but his plan backfires when a huge group of eagles appears. It turns out Eagly is the legendary Primal Eagle, with the power to call other eagles to him. When Wild realizes what Eagly is, he begs for mercy, but it’s no use. Eagly orders the eagles to attack, and Wild is killed in Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 5.
Red St. Wild’s story might seem like a strange side trip, especially since we never fully understood why he believed in the Primal Eagle prophecy. However, his death dramatically changes how we see Eagly. Previously, Eagly was just Peacemaker’s funny, lovable pet, providing lighthearted moments.
