Reese Witherspoon was seen enjoying a date with her boyfriend, Oliver Haarmann, who works in finance, in London on Wednesday night.
The 49-year-old actress and her partner had a romantic evening at the theater, leaving the show hand-in-hand.
She and a 57-year-old businessman were in the audience for the play *Good Night, Oscar*, a Tony Award-winning comedy-drama featuring Sean Hayes from *Will & Grace*, at the Barbican theatre.
As they left the theater, she and her boyfriend showed their affection for each other. He gently guided her to the car by placing his hand on her arm.
She and her companion were recently seen out together, not long after she revealed she used to take medication for severe anxiety. She also shared that hypnosis helped her manage and overcome it.
The Morning Show actress kept it simple and chic for a recent date night with her boyfriend. She wore a stylish all-black look, including a peacoat and leather pants. News recently broke that her popular Apple TV+ series has been renewed for a fifth season.

She finished her stylish and modern outfit with pointed leather heels and a matching leather clutch, creating a sleek, all-one-color look.
She wore her naturally straight blonde hair down and seemed to be wearing minimal makeup, highlighting her glowing complexion.
Her boyfriend, a successful businessman, looked sharp in a light blue shirt, tweed blazer, gray jeans, and suede loafers.
Reese Witherspoon is dating a German businessman, making it her first public relationship since finalizing her divorce from Jim Toth, 55, last year.
The couple began dating in July 2024, becoming romantically involved after initially connecting as friends following her separation from Toth.
Last summer, Witherspoon and Haarmann were seen taking a helicopter trip into New York City, followed by a romantic dinner date the next day.
At the time, a source told People that they were just ‘friends.’
Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth revealed they were separating in March 2023 and finalized their divorce in August, after being married for 12 years.
She was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe, 51, whom she met while filming the 1999 movie *Cruel Intentions*. They were married from 1999 to 2008.

She shares two adult children — daughter Ava, 26, and 21-year-old son Deacon — with Phillippe.
She shares her youngest child, son Tenneesee, nearly 13, with Toth.
Haarmann, a Harvard graduate, has been married before and has two children with his former wife, Mala Gaonkar.
The investor specialized in private equity and previously worked at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Ltd., a well-known investment firm based in London.
In 2010, he left his previous position to co-found Searchlight Capital Partners, a private equity firm.
He’s a part-owner of the New York Islanders and has a net worth of around $440 million. He also manages assets worth $10 billion.
In May, reports surfaced that she and Haarmann had looked at a $13 million apartment in New York City, suggesting they were considering moving in together and taking their relationship to the next stage.
Witherspoon was primarily based in Nashville while Haarmann lived in New York City.
The same day Reese Witherspoon went on a date with Haarmann, a podcast she appeared on was released where she talked about the positive impact of hypnosis on her life. This coincided with growing romantic feelings between her “Morning Show” co-star Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend, who is a hypnotist named Jim Curtis.
Witherspoon admitted on the Las Culturistas podcast episode: ‘I’m a high anxiety person.’

I used to struggle with severe panic attacks, sometimes crying uncontrollably. I tried meditation, but I find it difficult to focus and listen. It’s also hard for me to concentrate for long periods because I have some attention issues. It might sound strange, but I found help from a hypnotist who didn’t use any medication.
Okay, so I started needing medication, like Ativan, just to get through things. It was awful! It would calm me down, sure, but then I felt totally numb, like a zombie. And honestly? It killed my performance. I just wasn’t *me* – I wasn’t funny, I wasn’t quick… it was like it stole everything that made me, *me*.
She discovered a neurolinguistic programming (NLP) expert who showed her how to achieve the same calming effects as her Ativan medication, but without feeling drowsy.
Witherspoon explained that your performance won’t improve just by worrying less. Ultimately, she advises, simply choose to eliminate the stress altogether.
One of the Hello Sunshine co-founders discovered helpful habits, such as verbally acknowledging her accomplishments and taking time to appreciate positive feedback after finishing a task.
That experience completely transformed my life, and I want people to understand that anxiety is a genuine condition,” Witherspoon shared.
When I see people struggling and sharing their experiences online, it really gets to me. It makes me feel sad and I just want to offer them comfort. It’s a reminder that these are real issues, and no one has to go through them alone. There are ways to find peace and cope with difficult feelings.
