Kate Langbroek has raised eyebrows once again with her latest Instagram upload.
The 59-year-old former reality TV star posted a nude photo of herself taken at a nudist beach in Italy, where she’s currently vacationing alone.
Kate posed for a photo, leaning against a rock and partially covered by her long, brown hair. She showed off a healthy tan, subtle makeup, and a large, eye-catching ring while looking at the camera.
The radio and TV host shared honestly that traveling alone has been a very emotional experience, with lots of ups and downs.
It’s a real rollercoaster when I travel alone. One minute I’m incredibly down on myself, the next I feel amazing. This photo is from two days ago – today, I had a surprisingly cozy meal of roast chicken right in my car!
The honesty struck a chord with her followers – and sparked some amusing reactions.
Fellow comedian Dave Hughes was quick to poke fun, commenting: ‘Stop thinking about yourself.’
He went on to say that research indicates the happiest people tend to focus less on themselves. He simply added, ‘Life is magical.’
Psychologist Melanie Kelly commended Langbroek for enjoying time alone, saying that traveling solo is a great way to reconnect with yourself and rediscover your interests.

Someone else who related to Kate’s experience shared, ‘I feel exactly the same way at home! Some days I feel great, other days I feel awful – but I’d rather be feeling that way while in Puglia.’

Kate and her family lived in Puglia, Italy for almost two years before moving back to Australia in early 2021.
A mother of four is sharing her experiences traveling through Italy by herself, without her husband, Peter Lewis. She’s been posting updates online, showing her followers both the joys and challenges of solo travel as a middle-aged woman.
Kate has previously revealed she once secretly split from her husband.
The couple broke up for around 18 months back in the ’90s, before eventually marrying in 2003.
Kate revealed on the Life of Greatness podcast that Peter’s controlling behavior led to their breakup.
About a year and a half after we split up, we talked about it, and he admitted that trying to control things didn’t make him happy. He said he didn’t understand why he did it, and that it actually made him feel awful.
I told him, “Why don’t you just quit? If something is making you unhappy, I’ve learned it’s best to stop doing it.” I also wanted him to understand what it felt like to not have me in his life.
In a recent interview, Kate shared the story of how she and her husband first met while on vacation in Vietnam in 1998. At the time, they were both seeing other people.
Kate described it as simply a brief connection and mutual attraction. After she returned to Australia, she and her partner started dating again, while Peter reconnected with the woman who would become his wife.
But the sparks between them failed to disappear as they returned to their regular lives.
Things became quite difficult when we arrived home,” Kate explained. “On paper, our relationship didn’t make sense – he was almost ten years my junior and still in university at the time.
