I’ve always been so impressed by his mom! She’s a fantastic actress with a really amazing career on TV – I remember seeing her on shows like Beverly Hills 90210 and Lipstick Jungle back in the day, and she was always brilliant.

She’s most famous for her roles in classic soap operas like The Bold and the Beautiful and All My Children.

My dad is a very successful and popular chef in Australia.

This chef is well-known on television in both Australia and the United States, having been featured on shows like Surfing the Menu, Iron Chef America, and both the Australian and American versions of My Kitchen Rules.

He was also a frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show and is a best-selling cookbook author.

That’s Hudson Stone, the oldest child of celebrity chef Curtis Stone and actress Lindsay Price.

Hudson appears to be taking after his mother, landing a part in a big Disney movie.

I was so thrilled to see Lindsay announce on Instagram that Hudson is going to be in the new Camp Rock! It’s amazing to see the franchise coming back for a third movie, and I can’t wait to see what Hudson brings to the role.

She posted photos and videos of Hudson at the event where he was announced for the role, and of him practicing on stage.

Captioning the images, Lindsay could barely contain her parental pride at the exciting news.  

Lindsay wrote, ‘It felt like you suddenly appeared, stepping right into your own life’s adventure. We hadn’t expected it, but it was perfect, and I’m incredibly proud of you.’

The post was met with a flurry of congratulations and well-wishes from friends and followers.

A fan believes Hudson is destined for stardom, simply because of his name, exclaiming, ‘His name alone says it all – he’s a star! Congratulations!’

Amanda Kloots, a co-host on The Talk, perfectly captured what many people were thinking, saying, ‘What a cool kid with the best parents – this is amazing!’

I’m so excited about the cast for this upcoming movie! It’s fantastic to see the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Joe, and Kevin – joining the project. They’re incredibly talented and I know they’ll bring a lot of energy to the film.

A career in front of the camera was something that Hudson had long aspired to achieve.

Oh my gosh, back in 2019, Kate Hudson’s dad, Kurt Russell, totally let slip that Hudson was *so* determined to follow in our footsteps – meaning either mine or his! It was the cutest thing, he was just beaming when he talked about it. She really wants to make her own path, but with a little family history woven in, you know?

‘It’s quite confronting,’ Curtis said with a laugh when asked about Hudson’s early ambitions.

It was so cute – my oldest, who’s almost eight, had a careers day at school today. They asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grow up, and he put down either a chef or an actor! It really made me smile to see what he’s dreaming of.

My wife and I immediately shared a look, both thinking, “We really don’t want him to become a chef or an actor.” It was a bit shocking, honestly,” he said with a laugh.

Curtis and Lindsay, now both 47, were set up on a blind date by a friend in 2009 and quickly connected.

After that memorable night, they kept in touch by email for several months. As they say, the rest is history – they got married in September 2013.

The couple welcomed Hudson in 2011 and their second son, Emerson, in 2014.
