Mid-table teams from LCK, LPL, and LCP to compete at the 2025 Asia Invitational Tournament

In October 2025, the Asia Invitational Tournament will be held, bringing together top teams from Korea (LCK), China (LPL), and the Pacific Championship Series (LCP) who didn’t make it to the World Championship.

The last regional League of Legends competition ends on October 4th, but the World Championship doesn’t start until October 14th. In the time between, a new tournament – the 2025 Asia Invitational – will be held, featuring teams from Asia that didn’t qualify for Worlds.

2025 Asia Invitational Tournament

Okay, so I just heard about this awesome tournament happening in Asia next year! It’s the Asia Invitation Tournament, and it’s going down from October 6th to the 12th, which is perfect timing because it’s right before Worlds Play-Ins kick off. Basically, it’s going to be the best teams from China (LPL), Korea (LCK), and the Pacific region (LCP) battling it out. Should be a great watch!

This tournament is for teams that didn’t make it to the main event. It will include eight teams total: three from the LCK, three from the LPL, and two from the LCP.

Currently, Liquipedia suggests FEARX, NS RedForce, GAM Esports, and Vikings Esports might receive invitations. The tournament will probably include the team that loses the final qualifying match in the LCK between T1 and Dplus KIA. In the LPL, EDward Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas are likely to participate, as they both placed seventh or eighth. GAM Esports and Vikings Esports are expected to represent the LCP region.

What do we know about the tournament?

I’m so excited for the 2025 Asia Invitational! It’s going to kick off with a group stage where teams play best-of-three matches. Then, the top teams will move on to a double-elimination playoff bracket, and it all comes down to a best-of-five Grand Final to decide the champion. The prize pool is a huge ¥1,500,000 – that’s about $210,841! And the best part is, you can watch every match live on Huya, Douyu, and Bilibili.

While the exact location isn’t confirmed yet, the event will probably be held online since the streaming platforms are already set. Currently, we don’t have any information about whether it will be broadcast in English. We’ll share more details as soon as we have them.
