Okay, so everyone loves Judomaster from *Peacemaker*, right? He’s amazing at martial arts, but honestly, the first thing *I* think of is his obsession with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos! I remember seeing him eating them even when the show was promoting the 2025 season and being so snarky with Economos. It got me wondering – does Nhut Le, the actor who plays Judomaster, actually *like* Cheetos too? I got to talk to him about that, and he even told me what other snack Judomaster would grab if he ever ran out of his favorite!
How Does Nhut Le Feel About Flamin’ Hot Cheetos?
I recently interviewed Nhut Le, and after talking about Judomaster’s rematch and current events from *Peacemaker*, I asked him about the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos he’s often seen with on the show. Surprisingly, he doesn’t actually eat them while filming, and he explained:
Before we started filming, even in the first season, I didn’t like Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Now, after eating them so often for the show, I’ve actually grown to enjoy them. However, I eat regular Cheetos that are dyed to look spicy while we’re filming. That’s because eating a lot of the real Flamin’ Hot Cheetos can make it difficult to speak or even breathe.
While Flamin’ Hot Cheetos have a stronger flavor than regular Cheetos, eating them repeatedly for filming can be difficult. Regular Cheetos can still cause thirst or make it hard to speak, but they’re easier for Nhut Le to manage. This means he can enjoy Flamin’ Hot Cheetos whenever he wants outside of work.
What Is Judomaster’s Backup Snack?
Let’s say Judomaster, also known as Rip Jagger, can’t get his hands on Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Nhut Le has already come up with a solution, as he explained to me:
He’d likely grab Takis as a backup snack – the spicy ones. I think they’re a pretty good option when you need something to hold you over.
If you’re craving something spicy, Takis are a great substitute for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos while Judomaster searches for a store that still carries them. Just don’t interrupt him while he’s enjoying this fiery snack! It also makes you wonder if he’s seen the 2023 movie *Flamin’ Hot*, which tells the story of how the Cheetos were created and is available on Hulu.
The second season of *Peacemaker* is halfway through, with new episodes dropping on HBO Max every Thursday. Plus, starting Friday, you can also stream the original *Superman* movie on the platform.
