Taylor Swift will make epic return to The Graham Norton Show next month to promote her eagerly-anticipated new album The Life of a Showgirl

Taylor Swift is returning to The Graham Norton Show next month to talk about her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which fans are very excited about.

The 35-year-old singer will be a guest on the upcoming season of the popular talk show, which premieres on Friday, September 26th.

Taylor will be on the episode that airs on Friday October 3 – the day that her record is released. 

The recently engaged celebrity will be on the show with Academy Award winner Cillian Murphy, as well as actors Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.

Lewis Capaldi will also appear on the show to perform his new single Something In The Heavens.

It will mark her return to the chat show. 

The songstress performed on the show in 2019 to promote her album Lover. 

In 2022, she joined Eddie Redmayne and Bono for a discussion about her album, Midnights, and the re-recorded versions of her previous work.

Sabrina Carpenter’s new album, “Life of a Showgirl,” will be released on October 3rd. The album has 12 songs, including the title track which also features Carpenter herself.

Taylor created the collection of new music while performing her Eras tour throughout 2024.

The singer-songwriter explained to Travis and Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast that she was scheduling her tour with blocks of three shows followed by three days off, often flying to Sweden and back in between.

Honestly, by that point in the tour, my body was completely drained. But creatively? I was on fire! I felt so energized and inspired by the process of making things, it totally outweighed the physical exhaustion.

She shared that collaborating with music legend Max Martin was an incredible experience. She, Martin, and producer Shellback all felt a strong drive to create something truly special and bring their best ideas to life.

I realize saying this puts a lot of expectation on the album, but I don’t mind at all. I truly love it and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created.

‘It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in my life. 

‘So, that effervescence has come through on this record.’

Taylor Swift explained the album cover shows what her nights look like after a concert while on tour.

Swift playfully described her evenings after the Eras Tour shows, saying she usually ends up relaxing in a bathtub, not a sparkly dress. She explained that she wanted to capture the feeling of all parts of the tour, and the cover art for ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ represents that exhausted but glamorous feeling at the end of the night.

Taylor Swift explained she selected that particular image because it perfectly captures the essence of her album, which explores personal feelings and experiences from her life outside of performing.

Taylor Swift has announced the tracklist for her upcoming album, which includes songs titled “The Fate Of Ophelia,” “Elizabeth Taylor,” “Opalite,” “Father Figure,” “Eldest Daughter,” “Ruin The Friendship,” “Actually Romantic,” “Wi$h Li$t,” “Wood,” “CANCELLED!,” “Honey,” and “The Life Of A Showgirl.”

The podcast offered a special glimpse into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s almost two-year relationship, and many on X (formerly Twitter) praised Kelce as a supportive and considerate partner – a ‘green flag’ boyfriend.

Taylor Swift shared that she first noticed Travis Kelce when he showed up at one of her Eras Tour concerts in July 2023, during a conversation with him and his brother, Jason.

Travis Kelce originally intended to give Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it after her concert, but he didn’t get the chance to meet her. He later discussed the story on his podcast, and Swift ended up hearing about it, which eventually led to them connecting.

‘This dude didn’t get a meet and greet, and he’s making it everyone’s problem,’ Swift joked.

The singer, known for the song ‘Karma,’ described their romance as something out of an 80’s teen movie, joking that it felt like their partner was dramatically declaring their feelings with a boombox, like in the movies!

I thought, if this person is genuine – and that’s a big question – it’s exactly the kind of thing I’ve been hoping for in my songs since I was a teenager.

Okay, let’s talk about the cuteness! Beyond just being there together, Taylor and Travis were *very* affectionate. I noticed Travis sweetly kissing Taylor’s hand, and he even told her he felt like the luckiest man on Earth – seriously adorable moments that everyone was loving!

They then announced their engagement just a few weeks after the new album announcement.
