Alright gamers, the big Project Next 2025 Patch Update is finally here! Get ready for a fresh Ranked season and a brand new hero, Obsidia! I’ve been testing her out, and she’s a really aggressive marksman – basically, she’s amazing at chasing down enemies and sticking to them with a super strong passive. In this guide, I’m going to break down the best emblem, spell, and build for Obsidia in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), plus share some tips and tricks to help you climb the ranks and get those wins!
Skill Analysis
Passive: Return to Bone
Obsidia collects Bone Energy by damaging enemies. Once she has enough, it forms into a Bone Shard. She can have up to 25 Bone Shards at a time. With every basic attack, Obsidia directs all of her Bone Shards to hit the enemy.
First Skill: Abyssal Bone Needle
Obsidia fires an Abyssal Bone Needle, which deals physical damage and causes the needle to return to its source after hitting the first enemy hero.
Second Skill: Phantom Shadowmeld
Obsidia enters Shadowmeld Form, greatly increasing her Movement Speed.
Third Skill: Abyssal Bone Needle
Obsidia fires an Abyssal Bone Needle, which deals physical damage. When it hits an enemy hero, that hero is affected by Return to Bone.
Skill-up method for Obsidia
When playing as Obsidia, focus on leveling up her Skill 1 first. Then, improve her Skill 2 and her Ultimate ability whenever you get the chance.
Best Emblem Set and Spells for Obsidia in Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Emblem Setup
I main Obsidia, and let me tell you, she’s a seriously strong marksman! She’s great at chipping away at enemies from a distance, protecting my teammates, and just generally being a huge help in team fights. I’ve been experimenting with different builds to make her even better, so I figured I’d share some of the best Emblem and Talent setups I’ve found to really make Obsidia shine.

When playing Obsidia, it’s best to play in the Gold lane. We strongly recommend using the Marksman Emblem because its bonuses boost attack power. Here are the best talents to choose when setting up your emblem:
- In the First Tier Talent, pick Swift as it grants bonus Attack speedfor Obsidia.
- In the Second Tier Talent, pick Magic Shop as it reduces the costs of equipment to 90% of their normal price. This will allow Obsidia to farm and easily scale through early on.
- In the Third Tier Talent, pick Weakness Finder as it slows down enemies hit by Obsidia’s attacks.
Battle Spells
- While using Obsidia, you should equip the Purify spell, as it cancels out crowd control inflicted onto Obsidia. This will boost her overall survivability, especially when faced with high CC enemies.
- Vengeance is another advisable Spell to use, as it allows you to survive more, especially when you’re using your ult to lock onto an enemy.
Best Equipment Build for Obsidia in Mobile Legends
Obsidia’s ideal equipment build focuses on giving her life steal, increased attack speed, and the ability to quickly deal large amounts of damage. This allows her to effectively defeat enemies throughout the entire game. Here’s a recommended equipment build for Obsidia:
- Tough Boots: Provides extra movement speed and Magic defense, more importantly, it provides extra Control-time reduction. Allowing Obsidia to survive more when facing High CC comps.
- Haas Claws: This item greatly boosts Obsidia’s Lifesteal, allowing her to sustain a lot, especially when her passive ability is fully stacked.
- Windtalker: Greatly boosts Obsidia’s attack speed while granting her a Critical attack to melt down enemies early on.
- Berserker’s Fury: This item grants lots of Critical Attack, thus allowing you to burst down squishy enemies more easily.
- Malefic Gun: Build this item for extra Physical Penetration and additional range to hit enemies from afar.
- Rose Gold Meteor: Generates Shield when Obsidia’s HP is low, thus increasing her survivability during core teamfights.
Mobile Legends Obsidia Build Guide Gameplay Tips
Obsidia is a powerful, long-range attacker who excels at both chasing down enemies and protecting her teammates. Her ultimate ability lets her lock onto opponents, slowing them down and dealing significant damage at the same time.
Analyzing her gameplay reveals three distinct phases. However, mastering the map is crucial for success with any hero. This Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) guide details an effective strategy for playing Obsidia throughout the early, mid, and late game.
Early Game
Start by learning your first skill and heading to the Gold lane. Focus on earning gold and experience (farming) early on. Use your skill and regular attacks to quickly build up stacks for your passive ability. Obsidia should especially focus on hitting both enemy champions, minions, and towers to maximize her passive. A fully charged passive will give her a strong advantage while in lane.

When playing Obsidia, focus on using her second ability to safely and consistently harass the enemy in the gold lane. Remember that hitting enemies with her first ability builds up her passive stacks, so prioritize farming, poking opponents, and staying safe early in the game. This skill combination will help you maximize Obsidia’s potential during the early game.
Skill 1 + Basic Attacks + Skill 2
Mid Game
Obsidia really starts to shine in the mid to late game. She becomes a strong, long-range attacker, consistently harassing enemies and protecting her allies. Her ultimate ability, Abyssal Bone Needles, lets her lock onto an enemy, slowing them down and allowing her to focus fire and quickly reduce their health.
Use your first two skills along with your ultimate to quickly move around and deal significant damage. For maximum effect, build up your passive ability first, then use your ultimate to target an enemy and unleash a powerful burst of damage.
Late Game
Obsidia excels in the late game, whether it’s securing objectives or protecting your team from the enemy’s attacks. When your teammate initiates a fight, focus on quickly targeting and eliminating a mobile enemy or the enemy’s primary damage dealer. Importantly, Obsidia’s ultimate ability stops enemies from using teleportation or blink skills, giving her a significant advantage against heroes who rely on those abilities.

Remember to focus on surviving while working with your roaming teammate – whether they’re a fighter or mage – to start important fights. Also, coordinate with your Jungler to take down powerful monsters like the Lord later in the game, and to quickly eliminate enemy players.
