Sofia Vergara hits the red carpet at the America’s Got Talent semi-finals two days after cancelling Emmys appearance as she was rushed to hospital with ‘craziest eye allergy’

Sofia Vergara looked glamorous in a strapless jumpsuit at the America’s Got Talent semi-finals in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The 53-year-old actress appeared cheerful while posing for pictures, just two days after a severe eye allergy sent her to the emergency room and caused her to miss the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards.

After the health scare passed, Sofia changed into a stunning black velvet jumpsuit decorated with a sparkling silver star design.

She looked stunning in her evening outfit and high heels as she posed for photos at the event held at the Hotel Dena in Pasadena.

The Modern Family actress looked radiant with a full face of makeup after dealing with an eye condition, and happily smiled for the cameras.

She then posted a video on Instagram of herself settling into her judging seat beside Simon Cowell, excitedly announcing, ‘It’s almost time to start the show!’

According to The Cinemaholic, Sofía Vergara makes $10 million per season of the show, and season 20 is her sixth season appearing on it.

This happened shortly after the America’s Got Talent judge had to go to the emergency room for a problem with her eye, as she shared on Instagram.

I wasn’t able to attend the Emmys because I ended up in the emergency room! I had a really bad allergic reaction in my eye right before I was leaving, so I had to cancel. So sorry!

Sofía shared footage of her despairing while reclining on a hospital bed.

She also posted a clip of her seeking relief by using the specialized eye-rinse faucet.

Terry Crews, a fellow judge on America’s Got Talent, sent his best wishes to the five-time Emmy nominee, saying ‘Oh no! Get well soon!’

Snoop Dogg shared a praying hands emoji, and supermodel Linda Evangelista commented that it’s unusual to have an allergy in just one eye, suggesting a visit to a dermatologist could help.

DJ Diplo posted worried emojis and heart emojis and wrote: ‘Oh no.’

And Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers wrote: ‘All the healing vibes. Love you.’

Sofia was joined on the America’s Got Talent red carpet by her fellow judges: Simon, Melanie C, and Howie Mandel.

Mel B, known as Scary Spice, turned heads in a striking outfit: a tight-fitting, red latex minidress paired with matching fishnet stockings and high red boots.

I was absolutely captivated watching Mel! She had her long hair beautifully braided, and she just glowed, looking amazing in what she was wearing. It was a really striking outfit, and she totally owned it.

Meanwhile music mogul Simon rocked his signature black T-shirt and a pair of blue denim jeans.
