Tanner Fletcher SS26 Staged A Heartwarming Family Affair

Tanner Fletcher’s Spring/Summer 2026 show at New York Fashion Week was a dramatic event, held inside the beautiful, historic Capitale building, which dates back to 1893. Designers Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell even made a surprise appearance on stage before the models, with a backdrop designed to look like a moving day in progress.

Models emerged from a branded moving truck, sporting eye-catching outfits and accessories sourced from Tanner Fletcher’s Etsy collection. Helpers from TaskRabbit assisted with the presentation. The collection featured both men’s and women’s styles, reimagining classic home fabrics with striking designs inspired by early 1900s tailoring and detailed craftsmanship. Key elements included lace, ruffles, crochet work, and an abundance of bows.

The first men’s outfit immediately set the tone: a gathered and ruffled tracksuit paired with black HOKA Bondi Mary Janes. This look hinted at the collection’s overall theme of blurring traditional fashion boundaries, seen in details like sheer head coverings, long skirts, and outfits worn without pants, alongside classic elements like pussy bow collars. Tanner Fletcher’s runway proved to be the perfect setting to launch the HOKA Bondi Mary Jane. Both models and uniformed Task Rabbit workers showcased HOKA’s new bow-adorned shoe, a follow-up to the popular HOKA Speed Loafer.

The shoes from the brand nicely complemented the clothing, which blended traditional styles with ideas about gender. But the most striking looks were in the women’s collection. One outfit featured an oversized peach satin nightgown and robe that flowed behind the model. The show ended with a model in a large, old-fashioned evening gown pulling a matching floral curtain along the runway.

With their newly designed set complete, Tanner and Fletcher returned with their immediate families – parents and siblings – and other relatives who filled an entire row of seats. As they took their final bow, surrounded by loved ones, the designers highlighted the idea that it takes a team to achieve big things. This applied not only to completing their New York City apartment move and putting on such a detailed fashion show, but also to making a strong impact on the American fashion scene – something Tanner Fletcher has clearly demonstrated with this latest presentation.

You can now shop the Tanner Fletch x Etsy Re-Decorating Home collection on Etsy.
