Natalie Cassidy puts on a casual display as she enjoys a morning walk with her sister-in-law Linny in the Herfordshire countryside

Natalie Cassidy put on a casual display as she enjoyed a morning walk with her sister-in-law Linda.

The actress, 42, is best known for her role as the trumpet-playing Sonia Fowler in EastEnders.

I saw that she took a little time off from working on her podcast yesterday! She went for a lovely hike in the Hertfordshire countryside with Linda Cassidy, her sister-in-law. It’s great to see her enjoying some downtime.

Natalie looked happy and relaxed on her walk, wearing a black outfit and a simple logo sweatshirt from H&M.

Okay, so while everyone else was doing the most, Linny just… *glowed* in this perfect, all-white outfit. Seriously, a half-zip sweater and track pants? It sounds simple, but on *her*, it was everything. I’m obsessed. It was effortlessly cool, you know? Just pure, angelic Linny.

Natalie recently shared that she only created her weight loss DVDs for the money, and opened up about her struggles with body image.

Natalie starred in two fitness videos, *Then & Now* and *The Perfect Ten*, and recently shared that she was paid £100,000 to get in shape for them.

Natalie recently told Radio Times that releasing the DVD was a mistake, and she only agreed to it because of the money.

She admitted the DVD project wasn’t artistically fulfilling, but she did it for the financial gain. At 42, she acknowledges she should probably exercise more, but lacks the motivation right now.

‘I think, “If this is the size I’m meant to be, then I need to be happy with that”.’

Natalie explained that she doesn’t binge eat, but rather savors her food. She enjoys small indulgences like wine and crisps, but understands the importance of moderation and doesn’t have them daily.

For me, it’s all about balance. If I try to drastically lose weight, it actually makes things harder and my days just aren’t as enjoyable. I feel much better when I don’t push things to extremes.

Natalie recently landed a new job at Virgin Radio, just before leaving her role on EastEnders after thirty years.

Natalie Cassidy has played Sonia Fowler on the BBC One soap opera for 32 years, starting when she was only 10 years old back in 1993.

As a long-time follower of EastEnders, I was a little sad to hear that a beloved character is leaving Walford. She’s decided to say a final goodbye to Albert Square this January, after a lovely return for the show’s 40th anniversary. You can catch her last moments on Thursday’s episode – definitely don’t miss it if you’re a fan!

It looks like she’s already found success after leaving EastEnders! She announced on Instagram Wednesday that she’ll be hosting her own radio show for Easter.

Natalie announced on Virgin Radio that she’ll be hosting a special show on Easter Monday from 1 to 4 PM.

I’m already a huge fan of her podcast, Off The Telly! It’s brilliant, and she hosts it with the wonderful Joanna Page from Gavin & Stacey – a fantastic combination, honestly. She’s really gained a lot of followers quickly, and it’s easy to see why!

Before the show began, the actress said she was hoping to try new things and step outside her comfort zone this year. She also expressed her excitement and gratitude for being given the chance.

Natalie shared that she’s feeling really excited about stepping outside her comfort zone this year, and this opportunity is a part of that. She’s looking forward to trying new and challenging things.

I’m thrilled to be joining Virgin Radio! I’ve always been a huge fan of the station and everything they play.

Stepping in to host my own show is a little scary, but everyone starts somewhere!
