The popular British historical drama *Fingersmith*, featuring Imelda Staunton and Sally Hawkins, is now available on a new streaming service in the UK.
The 2005 television series, adapted from Sarah Waters’ novel, stars Hawkins as Sue Trinder, an orphaned girl who learns to pickpocket while living with her caretaker, Mrs. Sucksby, played by Staunton.
Sue’s skills soon become valuable when Richard Rivers, a charming but dishonest man, hires her for a risky scheme. This plan inadvertently puts Maud Lilly in danger.
