The British comedy-drama *Marching Powder*, featuring Danny Dyer, is gaining popularity in the UK after unexpectedly becoming available on streaming services.
This movie marks actor Dyer’s return to film after ten years. He plays Jack Jones, a father who gets arrested for fighting while intoxicated before a soccer game.
The courts then require him to attend couples therapy with his separated wife, Dani (Stephanie Leonidas), and to get sober. However, he struggles to stop drinking and using drugs.

Nick Love’s film, *Marching Powder*, came out in theaters in March, but it’s gaining popularity again now that it’s available on Prime Video, starting Saturday, September 13th.
Currently, this comedy-drama is number one in the UK on the streaming service, ahead of *Ice Road: Vengeance*. It’s also the third most popular title overall, surpassed only by the TV series *The Girlfriend* and *The Summer I Turned Pretty*.

While many Prime Video viewers enjoyed *Marching Powder*, critics weren’t as impressed. The film currently has a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 12 reviews.
According to *The Guardian*, Danny Dyer returns to the screen with plenty of energy, playing a comical character – a middle-aged man who enjoys cocaine and is involved in the world of lower-league football hooliganism. This latest film is a collaboration with director Nick Love, and the publication describes it as a wild and outrageous comedy.
According to *The Times*, Leonidas delivers a standout performance as Dani, bringing a natural and heartfelt quality to the film that it desperately needed.

While *Empire Magazine* found some humor in the film, they felt that genuine emotional moments were weakened by an underlying tone of resentment and negativity.
If you prefer suspenseful spy stories over heartwarming dramas, Prime Video’s Inheritance might be perfect for you. This thrilling series follows Maya (Phoebe Dynevor) as she goes on the run after learning her father (Rhys Ifans) is secretly a spy.
Marching Powder and Inheritance are streaming on Prime Video now.
