Rebel Wilson joins forces with real estate agent sister to offload two-bedroom Sydney property after it failed to sell

Rebel Wilson is listing her Sydney home for sale again, after previously taking it off the market last year.

It’s a surprising connection: the agent selling the stylish investment property is Anne Wilson, the younger sister of the famous Hollywood actor.

The Balmain apartment, previously set to be auctioned next year, is now for sale at $2 million. It was originally listed with an asking price of $3.3 million.

The lower price was revealed after Realestate.com reported that Rebel’s former agent had suggested she reduce the asking price to $2.2 million.

Instead, Rebel delisted the property and later rented it out for $1,200 a week.

Rebel bought a two-bedroom apartment in the historic Lever Brothers soap factory building in 2018, before it was built, for $1.8 million.

This apartment is conveniently located just 4 kilometers from the city center and offers beautiful views of the Sydney skyline. It’s spread across two floors, providing plenty of space.

The property offers a rooftop terrace and a dedicated study area. The main bedroom features a large walk-in closet and a private bathroom.

The kitchen features elegant Carrara quartz countertops, a built-in Liebherr refrigerator, and a stylish breakfast bar.

The home features beautiful engineered oak flooring, central air conditioning, and built-in custom cabinets and shelving.

Electric vehicle owners will be happy to learn that a charging station is now available in the building’s secure, covered parking garage.

Rebel first listed the property back in June last year, with an asking price of $2.3million.

She cancelled the auction in July and then asked her sister, Annachi Wilson (known as Anna), to handle the sale of the property.

Back in 2022, Rebel offloaded her stunning Birchgrove property for an eye-watering $9.5million.

She bought the three-bedroom property for $3.76million in early 2015.

She then enlisted architect Paul O’Connor for a ‘meticulous renovation’.

The actress made a staggering profit of $5.74million after owning the house for just seven years.

Also in that year, Rebel acquired another property in Birchgrove for $3.6 million, using her company, Camp Sugar Productions, for the purchase.
