Ariana Grande is working with Ticketmaster to help more of her fans get tickets to see her on the upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour.
Ticketmaster announced on Wednesday that some tickets for the singer’s tour, 32, had been canceled because they didn’t follow the company’s purchase rules.
Last October, we collaborated with the tour organizers to cancel some tickets that didn’t follow our purchasing rules.
We’re working to reissue the tickets directly to fans through a request system launching in February. This will help prevent them from falling into the hands of scalpers and unauthorized sellers.
Ticketmaster explained that while most tickets will be assigned randomly, they will give priority to fans whose tickets were canceled due to the seller breaking the rules, even though those fans didn’t do anything wrong.
I’ve been so touched by the incredible support from my fans lately! I shared a message on my Instagram Stories just to express my gratitude for their patience and understanding. It means the world to me!
‘Love you all so much and thank you for your patience… more information soon,’ she wrote.
Grande’s team reportedly ‘worked really hard to keep prices down,’ a source told People.
The source decided not to use a system that automatically raises ticket prices when demand is high, often called ‘platinum pricing.’ Because of this, fewer tickets became available from resellers, and overall prices ended up being more expensive than usual.
Not all fans were appeased by the announcement.
One fan questioned why resale ticket prices weren’t disabled, pointing out that even the least expensive tickets were selling for around $800. They felt there was no justification for such high prices.
‘TURN OFF RESALE & HAVE THEM PRICED ONLY AT FACE VALUE,’ another wrote.
One person commented that the situation was crazy, questioning why canceled tickets were being prioritized over those who couldn’t buy any in the first place. They added that it wasn’t their fault others had spent over a thousand dollars on resale tickets.
Just so you know, the best way to fix this would be to cancel all the reseller tickets and relist them at their original price, limiting each purchase to one or two tickets.
Last September, Ariana Grande expressed her frustration after tickets for her Eternal Sunshine tour sold out almost instantly, only to see resellers trying to profit by marking up the prices.
The singer used Instagram to reassure her fans, explaining she’s working hard to make sure they can get tickets to her tour, which is scheduled for 2026.
As a huge fan, it was so frustrating to see so many others, like myself, unable to get tickets during both the presale and the general sale. It really bummed a lot of us out, and we definitely let it be known!
Tickets for many of her concerts were being resold online for ten times the original price, and Grande told fans she’d been working tirelessly to address the issue, despite a busy filming schedule.
She posted a message saying she’d been busy filming all week, but wanted to address the issue of people reselling tickets for inflated prices.
The pop star added: ‘and of course i am incredibly bothered by it.’
The artist behind ‘Supernatural’ explained that they’ve been working tirelessly on the phone to find a solution. They acknowledged fans’ concerns and expressed hope that more tickets would be made available to them, rather than scalpers, stating that the current situation isn’t fair.
She assured her fans that she and her team ‘are doing everything we can.’
She wanted to let everyone know that her team is aware of the situation and that she deeply cares. They are working hard to resolve it and she expressed her love and gratitude for their patience and understanding.
Grande’s Eternal Sunshine tour, launching in June, will be her first in six years.
Ariana Grande revealed last August that she would be touring to support her album, released in February 2024.
After winning the Best Pop award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards thanks to her album, Eternal Sunshine, she shared a personal message with her fans about her upcoming concerts.
Her single Brighter Days Ahead also took home Video of the Year.
In her acceptance speech, she warmly thanked her devoted fans, describing them as incredibly loving and supportive. She also hinted at her upcoming concerts, excitedly telling them she’d see them on tour!
